Exactly. Saturday would have been the busiest day, with it being the end of the month and a match day. The ticket office was dead. Deakin has just enrolled as one of the scum killing our club.

Deakin claims that they have sold just "100 free season tickets issued to under nines".

 

This figure is extremely poor, why is the club not doing more to guarantee the future lifeblood of the club by encouraging more young season ticket holders? Given they are free I'd have expected this figure to be at least 1,000.

 

How can they be SOL if they are free?

I had my eye close on the ticket office on the Friday prior to the Morecombe game and I only saw two people go into the office throughout that time.

 

But, which I stated in a previous post, please dont trust Mike Lloyd on what he says.

Totals may have a small boost when the direct debit super savers kick in this month, with the May payment. I dont know the numbers, some have cancelled including myself. I recieved a call on my answering machine this week,from a pleasant lady in the ticket office, saying my letter had arrived and would be passed on. I await my refund.

I fully expect that the board and Mr Deakin, are now in a position to offer Gareth Owen, one of our best players, increased terms on his contract.

 

No way should we be losing Gareth to the likes of Burton, or god forbid Crewe, now that we appear to be flush with cash.

 

We do however, have to assume that the figures quoted are correct. If not, I fear that Mr Deakin, and the board collectively, have just pulled the trigger and shot themselves in the foot!

I know 2 people who have renewed and would whatever was heppening down the Vale. Every single other ST holder I know is not renewing
