At the Stockport game Mike Lloyd (Director) was told ST sales were 110. He was shocked and immediately went to the Ticket office and came back and confirmed it was true with the words 'that's frightening'

 

Since then he was questioned at the Stevenage game on the Monday and said things hadn't changed. (Bank Holiday)

 

That left 5 days for ticket sales.

 

Here on OVF various people have said they drove past the club, went the club etc during those days and none saw anything resembling a queue. Was there one when you were there?

 

On saturday the last day of sale there was definitely no queue either before or after the game as I was there.

 

Independent of this two people independently said sales were 157 - which if Lloyd's quote was right the week before may not have been far out.

 

How long did it take to complete your ST purchase 5, 10 minutes? So if nearly 2,000 people have renewed in 5 days then I think at some point there would have been a queue, don't you?

I think a large majority of the younger fans have not renewed but the die hards old gits like me have. (no offence as i have been going down since the early sixties, yes I am getting on a bit)

I have renewed because I dont want to see the club go into admin and I am worried the the starve em out and black and gold followers, however well meaning could put us in a difficult position.

I think that you have all made your point and I do think that change is around the corner due to your protests but dont lets cut our noses off to spite our face's. the last thing that I want to see is next season starting with a points deduction and another year in L2.

 

I have been going since 62 and not renewed. I am in lorne st and none of us has renewed. SEO is nothing to do with Black and Gold and I have not renewed for exactly the opposite reasons to you. Isn't ironic that Perry Deakin claims that VAles finances are not perilous. How is it before Mo came on the scene Vale were always pleading poverty and begging shareholders supporters to buy shares as it was vital to keep the club going. Now all of a sudden despite evidence to the contrary we are awash with money and can cope with all financial situations with ease. You couldn't make it up, unless of course you are BB and then of course you can make it up.
