Griff signing

For me the most balanced midfield would be Lines and Griff in the middle, JMW or Mohamed on the right and Loft on the left, who would add balance and discipline and give Jones licence to bomb forward from full back. I'd be wary of starting with both wingers, for now at least.

Our first 10 league matches this season did not include Griff we Won 6 L 2 D 2 last 10 matches with Griff W3 L2 D5

 

Fair enough point about Morsy and Burge, but if it was not for Vale signing Griff he would of ended up where?

 

Quick question, where did we play our best football? First 10 or last 10 matches?

 

But surely you noticed that our style soon got rumbled? Had we continued with the same approach and personnel I doubt we would have gone up.

Griff was signed to add steel as everyone keeps stating, to shore up our defense as you will. The hard fact remains our defense got worse when Griff was signed to do "his job." Now I am not saying that is all Griffs fault but to the people saying he dragged us over the finish line need to know it was the fact we started to score goals again which dragged us over the finish line.

False. We conceded less in the last 10 than the first 10 games.

Glad to have Griff back, solid signing, good for team morale as well.

Let's not forget that for by and large we were toss in the run in, Chesterfield and Burton apart.

 

A player that stops us playing and will struggle against fleet of footed midfielders, who play flexible formations. I hope there's another central midfielder on its way

Have a look here.. Good comments from Orient fans and recognised his strengths.. They say pretty much what we know, not great passing but good at breaking up play etc..
