Chester have got no hope mate I go Uni there and know the team, their manager is aiming to avoid relegation as they are still part time and will move to full time next season, that's when their aiming to go up. Personally i don't bet on the conference it's way to unpredictable. I'd go with; man utd, Bolton, Peterborough and Northampton. Can see chesterfield bottling it again this season, is it possible to have a bet on all the teams that got promoted to the championship, league 1 and league 2 all to avoid relegation?

I can see what you mean, but the bookies disagree.

they are 10/1 to go up, same odds as sheff utd.

However i am going to do another bet with all the others plus luton town instead of chester to go up.

Yeah better odds than I expected actually, always risky for that league as only 2 go up, Luton are usually there abouts though, got to be wrexhams year soon as well.

Chester, Portsmouth, Rotherham, & Wigan, for a good yankee bet. I will also have a good bet on Chester to win the Conference, as they have got the financial clout to win it by a mile.

Not for this season they don't as I say they are still part time and are Aiming to avoid relegation next year their pushing on.

Leeds at 18-1 are a decent bet to win the championship.

Fleetwood have signed some very good players and look decent at 9-1.

Cant see past Peterborough in our league who have some cracking young players and have kept the bulk of their squad.

I wouldnt like to guess the premier league winners. Utd, city and chelsea all in transitional periods. Arsenal looking to strengthen by possibly signing Higuain, Rooney etc. They could be the best value at 14s.

ive taken a tip off here, had 3 quid on accumulator of stoke and palace go down, Carlisle go down, chesterfield go up, Dagenham go down and chester to go up. some places offering 17000/1 for that.unlikely I know but most of them are favourites, just stoke have gotta beat the odds on that.

also had wolves to win league one, sheff utd to go up, vale to go up and gills to go down. all favourites apart from vale.had a fiver on that at odds of 1800/1.

I think you may struggle with the Stoke one in all honesty. Last season I'd have agreed (and been wrong) but this season I think is a good time for Stoke to restructure. I don't like Hughes as a manager, I think what he did at Man City and Fulham is over-rated, but there are some awful teams coming up from the Championship (Hull and Crystal Palace) and I think Sunderland look like they're making all the wrong moves in the transfer market. Stoke have brought two decent players so far and got rid of the right ones, so I'd be surprised if they were in as much danger as they were towards the end of last season.

As for Gillingham, can't see them going down.

Chester lowering expectations is an old device, doesn't mean they won't do well. I do agree that the Conference is tricky to predict and with only one automatic promotion place is far more difficult to bet on than L2 where you have 3 automatic places. Chester have some money I believe, and I would be surprised if they didn't finish in the top 8 and maybe much higher.

Reports that Shrewsbury are down to the bare bones and have just lost out on a bid to sign their only transfer target (and to Hartlepool !) make them a strong contended to add in for relegation, even though the price will be smallish, good bet.
