Dodds, Yates and Williamson sign new contracts

Good news, particularly Yates who I think was playing beneath his level in L2.

If Dodds can get out of the habit of going missing in games he'll be a real asset in L1 as well.

For me dodds is best behind a lone striker. It will come in handy in league 1 with the top teams and a need to be more solid in the middle.

I really think midfield is going to be key next year.. From what I saw of league 1 compared to leave 2 the step up in quality is massive.. Yeovil played some great football in the middle of the park.. Short neat passes which were quick and affective.. I don't think we have the central midfielders to do well in league1

does that mean yeovil are better than stoke because they pass the ball around in middle of park and stoke dont. every team play the way it suits there players.

Good news' date=' all good squad players. I personally still think we need a couple of tall, quick centre halves and two dominant central midfielders though as first team regulars.[/quote']

Agree with that REP,plus another wide man and a striker.

I was very pleased to see that Jones had signed and I am just as happy to know that Williamson is signing.

Ben has been steadily improving. He and Jones have great pace and Ben will at some stage become a regular. I believe that he has a great future. May be Mickey thinks the same because he has given Ben a two year contract where others have only been granted one year.

Things are looking good. The signing of a fast winger who can cross the ball to the strikers and a speedy centre back will help to take the Vale to a high league one position.

Personally I think out of those left to sign loft will move on. Would it be a big loss. In my opinion, not really.

Yep a big loss, consistant in all positions he plays, aside from Williamson and Jones the most necessary to re-sign.

He is captain and close to Micky so hopefully he will stay. Cant believe you dont think he will be a big loss.
