Dodds, Yates and Williamson sign new contracts

Doddsy is a class act and I expect him to be a major player in Div1.

Yatesy had his best season for us last term but I expect him to have a bit of a struggle next season.

Willo is exciting and I can only see him improving.

 

All in all, I'm happy

I really like Doddsy in the hole and he looked first class the first half of the season! Also looked class when played centre mid.

 

Yatesy has had his best season and asside from his first class crossing this is the first season where he has actually ran at people and tried to beat them, whereas he used to **** himself when a defender closed him down.

 

Willo is raw but looks better every time he plays. Personally I still see him as an impact player, cause Hughes is doing enough for me to justify starting.

 

I'm made up with these 3. Really want Birchy to sign because after a MA pre-season he will be amazing next term!!

Personally I'm glad that Louis ain't leaving and wish that the plonkers who insist on starting "leaving rumours" would desist and wait and see like the rest of us!

doddsy had a really good season. and its great news hes now signed,some vale fans amaze me with there comment about dodds.They must miss what he does off the ball???,is it just me that sees him,run into a space to allow popey or hughes,to attack with 1 less defender around them,or a clever through ball ??

sure some people expect 15-20 goals from him year in year out.

Good news on ben he has a lot to offer the vale can only improve just need a fit dickinson 2 more midfielders and 2 centre backs with pace and wide player and we will be ready for league 1 bring it on.

Been saying all along the most vital piece of the jigsaw was for the existing squad to re-sign.

 

Jones and Williamson are big signings because Jones we can see has the class, but for me Williamson may well do a Pope next season as we all know he has the touch and pace and suddenly against a beaten Burton he found the confidence to hit the net with some quality finishing. With Hughesy to bring him on he will have a great season with no pressure on him.

Fantastic news I do think BW is one for the future. And I am sure doddsy will come into his own in div 1

 

Williamson needs to be one for now, not the future. He will be 25 this year. However, the same amount of goals from the bench will do me. Still need an extra striker though I feel.
