Sleepless Night

OK guys.....I'm not going to be alone tonight.....I guess there will be hundreds in the northern part of the city who won't get a lot of sleep tonight.....I've slept badly the last couple of nights with the permutations swirling round in my head.....perhaps I shouldn't even log onto OVF to read all the crescendo that we are building up to....

 

I've just left The Boot Inn at Orleton near Ludlow where the lovely lady even paid the bill (it was hefty!) and I just don't know how I will make it thru' the night with the impending excitement! We've booked The George in Burslem tomorrow,,,,expecting a Promotion Party Special!!!!

 

Now if there are others who can't sleep.....here's a poser to keep you thinking during the night.....

 

I have been on all 92 League grounds.....and as a Vale fan, loads of ex-league grounds (Halifax, Maidstonem Barrow, Workington, Grimsby, Luton, Newport County et al)........and I have seen The Vale at 90 of the 92.....

Can you guess where I have NEVER seen them play?

 

Setting off tomorrow at 10.30am.......would be earlier......but the house is on the market and I have two pesky viewers at 9 and 10am.......

What a stunning day and night it promises to be in Burslem tomorrow!

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's physically impossible for you to have seen Vale play at 90 of the 92 league grounds as we've never played at;

 

Arsenal, Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City, Colchester United, Coventry City and Milton Keynes Dons.

Setting off at 11 tomorrow, 2 hour journey give or take a few delays should see me at the ground around 1-1.15pm. Enough time to collect the tickets and grab some goodies from the club shop.

 

The biggest game I've been to since Arsenal 1998. Just cannot wait to get moving!
