Wildes latest ticket offer v Northampton

Why have we given an 'allocation' of tickets to Northampton......there is UTTERLY no way that they will need anywhere near the number that The Hamil will hold? All spontaneity is taken out of attending a match when supporters have to go to the trouble of purchasing un-necessary tickets beforehand. What a poor show from the authorities at The Vale if we can't 'control'an influx of 1500 supporters from Northampton in an end that holds circa 4,000! The Safety Officer is not worth his salary if he along with the local constabulary insist on forwarding tickets to Northampton.

It should be pay on the day for travelling fans on this occasion.Iit is totally different to when The Vale went to Rochdale this weekend.

To avoid the longest queues of the season at the away ticket porta cabin?

So, in simple terms, Pay the FULL price (No change there then) and save a stub to buy a season ticket later of which you don't know the price of, so if you have never had a season ticket because of various reasons of work, affordability, etc how is this a a good offer ?......................some-one got it wrong this time,

Unbelievable. The last 3 games have been discounted so paying full price would actually be a change!

To be honest the £20 entry fee and get your money back via a season-ticket doesn't help the exiles like myself who live out of Stoke and can't feasibly or realistically redeem the money by purchasing a season ticket next season.

However, in saying that, there is little point in me moaning and whinging about the price. It's all about getting behind the lads and supporting the team you love and care about.

I'll be there on Saturday, no doubt about that. Fingers crossed there will be a good 10,000+ other Valiants there too!!

All this criticism regarding 20 quid off before ST prices are announced. Am I missing something?

When they are announced, if you don't have a ticket stub you have to pay 20 quid more. So what difference does it make whether the prices are out yet or not?

Stop be sensible.

This could go on forever !

For those who havn't worked it out yet ,it's normal prices on Saturday (with an offer attached for next season) to hopefully watch Port Vale clinch a long awaited promotion to League 1 .

For those who wish to go and enjoy then do that , for those who think it's too dear then don't go , but for goodness sake stop moaning about it .

We are in the best position we have been for many years , not in any of our 'wildest' dreams (excuse the pun !) could we ever have thought that with two games to go of this season would we need a point to confirm promotion !

Savour the moment people if you want to experience it you will , genuine reasons will unfortunately not allow some to attend but some of the excuses are difficult to understand .

Up the Vale , come on boys make Saturday a day to remember for ever and let's put 8 / 10 years of misery behind us !!!

I seriously hope we get promoted on Saturday instead of going through the playoffs and possibly taking the embarrassing 5/6 thousand to Wembley:rolleyes:Those who don't think we can fill the ground, remember Bristol Rovers - full price, play off final.

i have not seen one person on this thread who have said they are not going other than those working on hols or exiled the only question has been if the floaters will float or stick in numbers to boost the gate to the numbers the club are hoping to attract due to the cost being above that of the burton game

initial impressions are ticket sales are going well, if we get over 10k for this game i will be delighted, if not so be it

i can't wait myself UTV!!!!!!!
