How has the paddock got the worst acoustics when the Lorne st has non ( due to the roof being so high)

There is a fundamental point here and that relates to fans enjoyment of the experience at Vale Park and I would suggest that if we are to get much bigger crowds in future (lets hope so) then the owners should look about trying to get a Bundesliga style fanbase into the Bycars - i.e. mass 'hysteria' throughout the game with flags, songs and flares (OK the latter may not be allowed).

 

But how great would it be to think outside of the envelope and get an atmosphere going in Vale's Kop End that is more colourful, noisy and intimidating than anywhere else in the UK.

 

If they announced an initiative to do that it would also give the quiet Bycars Enders the opportunity to move elsewhere.

Agree completely. I think the only way a change will happen is if they reduced the ticket price for the Bycars below the Paddock - definitely should be done for next season IMHO. Nothing has come close to the Bycars in the 90's because the acoustics, capacity and location are all much better as the 'singing' stand than the Paddock.

 

There should be more distinction in the feel and pricing of each stand - every good business should have a diversified product offer and if there was more distinction between areas of the ground it would increase everyone's enjoyment of the game. Families could feel more comfortable in a suitable area and young lads who want to get ****** then sing and swear could create a great atmosphere in a proper home end.
