Well, apparently Smurf and Wildes read this forum sometimes - hope they read this thread as they wouldn't be aware of the history of the ground and what the Bycars was and can be like. BTW, if you are reading this - thank you.

The Bycars really reminds me of what a 'Kop End' should look like (no seats would be better of course and if there is ever the OK to make standing legal again then I would love to see the Bycars revert to a standing area - it would also encourage only singers to go there)

What atmosphere? You can count on 1 hand this season where we have actually had one.

 

It's fine when the casuals come out and there is 11,000 fans there.

I agree, burton was obviously one of those nights that only happen once in a blue moon at the vale.

 

I'd love them to happen more often though dont get me wrong.

 

Northampton should be equally as good, providing we are winning or doing enough to get promoted.

If the magical two are reading this, and they want to attract big numbers - then please open all the ****ing turnstiles - What the use of having people turn up if you dont make it easy to get in. For the Burton match 50% of turnstiles were shut in the Bycars.

I'm a bycars oldboy and have spent the last ten odd years in the paddock and not once has it ever matched the atmosphere of the Bycars in its heyday!

Lets make sure all 3 stands are rocking, so we don't have silly arguments about which has the loudest and best singers.

 

A bit of competition between stands can't hurt IMO, surely it would make the atmosphere better? It's not like we get any away fans to compete with.
