A bit of competition between stands can't hurt IMO, surely it would make the atmosphere better? It's not like we get any away fans to compete with.

 

I use that term loosely of course, the railway stand doesn't exactly have much competition.

It would be an incentive for the Bycars to be cheaper, but the Hamil would have to be cheaper too for the away support.

The goal music kills the atmosphere for me, just when the singing gets loud we all have to clap along to a goal song.

 

But the handful in the bycars will be dead bored when we score if you get rid of it.

It might have been amazing 20 years ago, but for the past 10-12 years its been absolute garbage.

 

There seems to be a "lets get the bycars back to the glory days" campaign every year. It never works, fair enough being nostalgic but I'm sick of everyone saying get in the bycars, it's ****.

 

How about everyone gets in the paddock and helps better the best atmosphere in the stadium.

Because the Paddock has the worst view in the stadium for a start and Vale must be one of the few clubs in the country where the 'singers' prefer to be alongside the pitch rather than behind the goal - except, of course, those fans who are more interested in goading away fans than supporting their teams.

and RB that is just the point - despite what you are claiming the Paddock acoustics are ***** and for all your efforts a bus load of away fans make more noise than you do in the Paddock.

If all the singers from the paddock went in the bycars, you'd make a much better atmosphere. Simply because of the acoustics, this is not an opinion - it is a fact. A full and rowdy bycars make a far greater noise than a full and rowdy railway paddock.
