Done it at a few grounds but the best was at York when 3 of us were so drunk we just went in the wrong stand. Their fans were gently amused at the state of us, couldn`t remember the score when we got home .

Reminds me I did it there too, but in the Family Stand and with neighbours, Jeffers scored with a centre in the first min, then we got hammered for the rest of the match. All I could do was apologise, but results are not always fair.

 

I remember that one. I got booed when I got into work on Monday. Heh heh.

Done it a few times at Ashton Gate as a mate of mine has a City ST. The last time I went in a home end was this season to see the 22 penalty shootout at Walsall. After last week's 7-1 my favourite game of the season! I was right behind the goals with a Saddler's mate of mine. It was priceless.

got turned away from the holte end by police that day stood on the big open terrace at the other end. went in plenty of home ends in the 1970s it was normal in those days:D

I know the feeling, during the 80/90's I lived in Nottingham and went to the County Ground to see a night game Notts vs Vale and stood with a work colleague (a Preston fan) in one of the Paddocks. The atmosphere amongst their fans was intimidating and Vale thrashed Notts 3-1, I didn't celebrate or cheer any of Vale's goals and stood with my hands in my pockets all game.

 

Some of their older fans do not like Vale for robbing them of a few promotions, I could never remember them. The biggest moan was Vale selling Eddie Baily to Forest, who master-minded Forest to promotion and success in the old Div 1.

Loads of times..... Oldham cause it was cheaper. Stoke, Crewe, Burton because of sell outs. Never had any trouble and cheered when we've scored. Keep meaning to go in the away end at Vale some time just to see what it's like.

Went in the home end when we played Stoke in the Steino 'dive' game, promised that I wouldn't cheer if we scored. I was right behind Kerr when he hit that screamer and I was bouncing around before the ball hit the back of the net. A load of Stokies jumped me but they equalised almost straight away and that probably saved me.

 

Best bit was Andy Porter warming up licking his tongue out at them (and me I suppose) as he did sidways star jumps down the side of the pitch.

I sat in the home seats at Ninian Park late on in our last promotion season. No problems at all.
