I think a lot are missing the point here. Its not what happened tonight but how many times this has happened before. Why are so many players falling out with the manager? Whats the common link? If the manager had the respect of the players this would not be happening at all , or at most only once.

Doesn't wash with me, that he had a fraction of the journey, as someone else has said, you set off early enough to get there on time, no excuses. If the allegation about being late on Saturday is true as well that makes it exponentially worse. Who the heck does he think he is?

Question marks over MA's man management watever has gone on here. The inconsistency in how different players get treated is staggering.

 

In any case, we cannot afford not to be playing our best team. The team we put out tonight was arguably weaker than th one thats finished mid table for the last three years.

Burge has made it very diffficult for Micky. You really seem to dislike ADams from what I read so far. You dont seem like a reasonable person though either.

I agree totally, but I do think the players reactions to situations are a reflection of how they are treated by Adams (and Grew). We as fans are fully aware of MA favourites so what must the dressing room be like? The team selection should be based on performance in games and in training, I'm not convinced that happens at Vale.

I read somewhere that there were traffic problems getting to the ground.If Burge was stuck in this traffic why didnt he just make a call to Adams and explain?

Every fan is on the side of Burge, or was. Then he goes and does this.

Burge has had a good run in the team, deserved, so it doesnt appear to have been a ' favourites issue ' here

Surely Griffiths wasnt Burge's replacement. It was Shuker and he is certainly not showing to be a favourite.

 

We still dont know the full story. I would hope that if Burge was ' stuck in traffic '

he let Adams know. What was Adams reaction etc etc we just dont know enough yet
