Adams/the players and the fans including me-sen should take a breather and take a long look at our selves,In my honest OPINION we are good enough to go up in the top 3 but the players and ADAMS must take a long hard look at themselves instead of blaming others, we didn't get to second place by luck but by hard graft which starting Tuesday must do again , as for the fans , well it's total panic shown by posts on the Adams threads,THE SEASON starts again Tuesday in my eyes ,we have 2 away matches before we return to VALE PARK,I just hope the players balls have grown some by then

You're correct in saying MA and the 'Lads need to 'kick start' the season on Tuesday :)

Yesterday showed the total lack of confidence and desire to win. The only player, in my eyes, to come out of the game with any credibility was Duffy, he was the only player on the pitch actually with the balls to go looking for and excepting passes. Everyone else went missing, especially in the first half. The total lack of movement and passion shown was horrific to see. I totally agree that the current group of players are good enough to gain automatic promotion however it is not going to happen with half hearted displays like we have been seeing. It is time for the players to show some aggression, willingness and total commitment. The fans need to drive the team forwards like we did in the second half yesterday. Adams needs to show passion.

I agree with you Grebo and the first one to show that he is a man is the Boss. He needs to have a chat with all of those players that he has alienatedover the last few days/weeks.

The prize is so close that petty squabbles and fall outs must be removed or everyone will look back with regret on so near yet so far.

I thought the same.But his recent statements,post match interviews give me the feeling that the pressure is getting to him.There is something or someone amiss in the dressing room.He sounds negative and is starting to e bitchy.

All these threads could just be rolled into one really.....Growing a pair.....Losing the dressing room etc.. The fact is that there is something badly a miss and only Adams and the players know what it is. We all know that Doddsy was arguably the best player on th park on tuesday so where was he and why. Burgey has been one of the players of the season so where was he and why. Whats the problem with Williamson ?. Why does Mickey keep playing JMW its not working.. Only Mickey knows the answers. A complete lack of desire from everyone in the 1st half yesterday and it does look as if hes lost the dressing room to me. Everyone needs to take a good look at themselves and get a grip fast. Yes ang grow a pair or go and play elsewhere. Were fast becoming a joke, I just hope Mickey and his over inflated ego is hurting as much as the fans are.. Get a grip people before the wheels really do fall off.

I agree with all that has been said. My real worry is that we play a number of the teams around us at home in the run in. A few weeks back I would have looked on this as being a big advantage but now the complete opposite!

I do think we all need to regroup and get behind one another for the remainder of the season, because this league is so unpredictable and we can still achieve automatic promotion with a few good results. Let's have all these discussions and dissect what/who went wrong once we've secured our L1 status. Come on folks, how can we criticise Adams lack of passion when you read some of the drivel written on here (myself included). One big push from everyone on and off the pitch and we'll be there.

The fans do not have to look at themselves, I've done nothing wrong except support them......the manager could do with showing some humility yes there was some isolated booing after the Morcambe debacle and Adams has seized on this as an excuse to cover up his own short comings

Totally fair comment--MA is the one in charge, he is being paid to select and motivate the team. He, like any other manager (and not just in football) has to take responsibility for his decisions & actions. He has had support from the new owners as far as signings are concerned, so he can have no gripe on that front. It is interesting to think back on how motivated the very small squad we had under administration, with everyone obviously committed to the cause. How the dynamics have changed--maybe the new signings have had a more disruptive effect than a positive one?
