That is not ideal- especially with Lofty banned. Yates at RB and Taylor at LB it is then

Back for obviously kept the same. Morsy in for Loft with JMW still keeping that width and Burge back in for Vincent patrolling that left side hopefully gettng forward and whipping some crosses in too. Hughes in for Dodds as i reckon Southend are there for the taking as ive heard 2 key defnders are out. Vital game but im feeling a 3-1 win! Hopefully that happens...

 

Not a bad side that. Hughes needs to start no matter what IMO.

Forgot to say that's why we need to play proven goalscorers Pope & Hughes.

 

Hughes has a big part to play. Whilst Pope has scored a lot of goals, Hughes is proven to win games even when undeserved. He is that striker who pops up last minute to turn an inevitable 0-0 in to three points. He didn't on Tuesday, but he was busy when he came on.

Not a bad shout at all. Don't think JMW can play in a central three though, so I'd replace him with Dodds. Also if we're not going to play wide men and rely on the full backs to do more attacking, I think I'd play Yates instead of Duffy - especially with Griff in front of the back four.

 

Apart from that though I'd happily see that side
