Never should have sacked Mick Mcarthy and then to compound it by appointing a foreign, unproven manager (in the UK) was stupidity of the highest order. With businessmen running UK companies making such stupid, ridiculous, illogical decisions its no wonder the country is struggling.

Agree about McCarthy, but how is a foreign manager to become proven in the UK without being given a chance? Solbakken (sacked after just 6 months!) said when he left that his successor would find top-to-bottom problems. He was very gracious despite being upset about his sacking, but he might just be having a wry smile right now.

 

It's been a catastrophic 12 months for Wolves, made worse against the backdrop of an expensive redevelopment of Molineux.

 

I'll raise a glass if Vale go up, but I'll save some for if Wolves go down. It would be great to see them go down again. The only thing I like about Wolves is that they hate Stoke.

They should of in fact sacked Mcarthy earlier. This would have allowed the club time to get a decent premier manager instead of Connor. Solbakken should have not been sacked by telephone following the Luton game he intended clearing the decks. They have a squad of 50 and a wage budget of 25 mil. The new north bank stand is totally amazing with a museum etc.

Lets not get excited wolves will not get relegated after next sat v Watford they have some very winnable games they will reach 55 points.

This is totally irony this is a thread by Duetch wolf placed after Micky got sacked by sheffield united I have responded directly to him yesterday to ask him if he wishes to eat his words.

 

Micky Adams is an idiot. When he got sacked by Coventry (and more or less knew that he was going to be sacked), he took his wife and daughter to the meeting. He plays appalling football, falls out with players all the time, and talks about himself in the third person. Dreadful manager. Anyone who employs him deserves relegation.

They do hate stoke but now we have Mr West brom hughes they hate us a deal more. I do not think they will go down but would love to see us play them next season and hughes score

After Wolves sacked Mcarthy a manager with a track record of getting teams promoted from the Championship or with experience at that level or above was required rather than someone with no experience at that level in the UK. IMHO, the Wolves job was always going to be difficult and the Wolves board should take the blame making 3 bad decisions in a row, sacking Mcarthy and appointing Connor and then Solbakkken.
