Perfect game to bounce back. A draw wouldn't be the end of the world but Rotherham.have a midweek game, should they win that and Saturday and we don't get 3 points it starts looking a bit dodgy.

Personally i would like to see the defence remain the same as i dont think that was our problem yesterday,in fact Duffy and Purse both pushed Jones close for MOTM and they are all defenders.

 

Also i cant see why people want Loft on the left wing if we are to play wingers,he was poor yesterday but does seem to be an untouchable for some,dont get me wrong i think he is a decent player and one i would like to sign up longer.

I think there is a case for the prosecution, but the only change I'd make is to get back to the early season cohesion and get a link to Pope through either Dodds or Williamson. You remember, the Dodds who scored at Rotherham when we won, scored against Dagenham, when we won, but failed to score in the next game when we lost to Fleetwood and became the usual scapegoat and was dropped.

Williamson shouldn't be starting. I think we should go with dodds & pope. If it isnt working we can always bring Hughes on, maybe even for Pope!

i think a scrappy win for the vale, a early goal will settle us down, another in the first half hour and it could be a cricket score but that is wishful thinking,,
