With the Dons Vs Vale game being moved to the Thursday for Sky cameras why not have the return, rearranged game, the following Sat/Sun at Vale Park, it'll be like the old days..........

 

Seems that the Dons are up for it should we be, fills an otherwise blank weekend.

I'm sure their supporters would prefer a weekend game, especially those who had already got tickets.

Can't see Vale wanting to play twice in three days. Besides Stoke may have a 4th round FA Cup tie at home. Nice idea though!

I'm not sure if the FL would allow it because there are often a few with scores to settle still very fresh in their minds.

Don't care when we play them now. I should have had Directors box meal package Saturday so lost out on that, although Chris Shaw has been fantastic and sorted out another date for us. Merry Christmas to the Commercial Department as they had a lot to re-organise Saturday and you don't realise what organisation goes on, even when a game is called off late in the day. Cheers!!

An interesting shout, but can't see either side wanting to play Thursday and then Saturday. Sunday possibly but our record is dire for Sunday games can't remember the last one we won at VP!

Good idea, but I'm sure they will arrange it for a Tuesday night when there is a Champions League match on the box.
