Very happy with a point from the 3rd placed team in league but like others have said it has got to be followed up with a home win to be worth anything.

 

Also it's getting closer to when we can strengthen the team,so keep plugging away picking up the points and then let's bring in the quality to finally take us over the finishing line.

Decent point. Southend getting a late equaliser helped so it keeps a 3 point cushion between us and 4th. A win on Saturday and at least a point at Rotherham should keep us ticking over nicely.

Played ok today and probably deserved the point but how Vincent stayed on the pitch for 80 minutes and taking Taylor off for Shuker when he was probably playing better than any other Vale player at the time??? Come on Adams!!!

Great point today for the boys. Much better performance than saturday, Morsy justified his support, fantastic performance from leagues best keeper by a million miles. Now please Vale get 3 points against the wobbly wombles next week.

Disappointing, but I guess not too surprising, to see fellow professionals going after Morsy today and trying to get him sent off. Two over the top tackles on him in the first half (one of which was nasty) and the ref gave nothing. Second half, another late one on him after he'd released the ball. Encouragingly though, despite a really nothing booking in the first half (McCombe's tackle was far worse but went unpunished), his influence on the game grew and grew. Made a couple of wrong decisions, but also played the pass of the match to release Burge (was it?) through on goal only for the goalie to fist away.

 

A good point. A bad ref (again). An okay performance, although we rode our luck second half, bit like at Southend.

The thing about Morsy is, although he's jumped into tackles stupidly a couple of times, he doesn't generally lose his rag, so I don't think that trying to wind him up will work.

Now after a hard earned point away from home at 3rd placed Cheltenham we have 36 posts!!

Adams was criticized last week because he made mistakes with tactics and his team selection. We lost the game.

 

Today he picked something a lot nearer to his strongest side and got a result.

The daggers were out about his team selection not the performance of the players which was witnessed by more supporters, those that didn't go to the game today would of known what team he had picked but are a little less generous with their compliments as they are with their pointless moaning.

Steady.....There were not that many bashing Adams just the personnel and tactics he employed,he admitted he made mistakes he obviously realised where he went wrong and picked a stronger side today.
