Maybe they are still hurting over our 5-0 demolition job at their place a few seasons ago during our last ever visit to Saltergate?

 

They've got too big for their boots just because they had one good season a couple of years ago and got promoted. We've always taken bigger followings to their place, then they have to Vale Park. We took 1,500 fans to their place on our last visit to their new Stadium.

 

In saying that; I've always enjoyed a visit to the old Saltergate, despite our horrendous record and performances there over the years. Decent away day, always supported pretty well by Vale fans.
