Just glad sjoke have had a bad season as well.  That would have been worse if they had a good season.

Wonder if we will start seeing some of the youngsters coming into the match squad and hopefully getting some game time.

Agrees. Nothing to lose now , why not give them the chance to show what they can do

Even to see what its like being a first team squad player - the differences between the levels and what is expected of them.

Don't want their development to be affected by loosing games - but they would show more desire than the current players we have.

Because it’s Jon Brady.

what are people not getting ?

It shows how far off we are playing against 10 men for most of the game ! Disappointed to say the least.

Clearly Dosent rate them / want to play the youth. Today was the time to do it (I would have long ago) but already relegated and nothing to play for, it’s a joke really to go in with the same tried and failed carthorses

Thing is, whoever the manager is. A few people will moan constantly and have 'stats' to back their argument. And I mean whoever the manager is. Moore was awful, Clarke lost his mojo. Crosby is a better coach than manager. You might love the next manager, someone else will not.

Turning up with some youth/young players and getting thumped 5-0 would not do them any good.

Nor would taking ‘inspiration’ from the likes of Jordan Shipley. Still, I sure he’s a good guy to have around the place….

He isn't good enough for the football league.

When did we last get thumped 5-0 when Shorrock started?

I’m not suggesting 11 changes, but players like Shorrock should have been involved

It's hypothetical. Yes, I agree. Maybe Shorrock on the bench and come on if things haven't gone <ovf censored> up badly.

Why is Jon Brady’s football philosophy going to change on who he brings in ?

All we fans can do is hope and hope that Brady has learned some lessons from January and together with change in strategy and possibly personnel in the recruitment department, recruit a better balanced squad of players with more quality to get us straight back to Lge 1.

I for one have my fingers crossed, getting the recruitment as wrong as in January doesn't bear thinking about.

I anticipate Carol will back Brady.

For me he’s no worse than our other options at left back, not saying much I know but given he’s our player and clearly has potential I’d be giving him a go over the likes of Campbell, Gordon, Headley and I don’t see why he couldn’t have a go over Archer.
To me Brady Dosent rate him or any of the youth players and we will see them move on in the summer.

What  you are not getting is that not everyone doesn't live in the area anymore and catches the odd game here and there. Only time I watch vale when they are on telly or I find it on the firestick. I stopped watching post interviews a long time ago. Mainly because its the same thing and its repetitive. So forgive me for not studying the history of Jon Brady philosophy

You clearly dislike Jon Brady and I'm not his biggest fan by any means but it was a simple request/hope/idea

No need to be a d1ck about it. We're all hurting and angry

He’s looked excellent for Cambridge every time I’ve watched them and he looks to have overcome his injury problems. Cambridge have a fantastic set up from the Board down (chaired by the current Chair of Astra Zeneca), Bonner as Director of Football and Neil Harris as manager. They are another club, along with Lincoln, that Vale should take a long hard look at.

But they still got relegated.

It is a hard division to stay in. Burton are on the longest stay in Div 1 - since 2018.

Look at the league for 2021 - 22, only 4 years ago.

12 of the 24 sides have been relegated since.

10 sides have been promoted, 5 of which have been relegated again (Rotherham twice)

As I said a hard division to stay in
