Plymouth Argyle v Port Vale - Match Thread

Featured Replies

New lows. Losing to a side who have 10 men for 85 minutes is pretty poor regardless of where they and us are. Same old squad selected, no youth. No hope

That's twice this season we've lost to 10 men?

Absolutely embarrassing. Worst Vale team ever by quite a long way.

They are all an embarrassment to the shirt.
85 minutes+ against ten men and they lose.

Pathetic.

we have had more shots on target than Plymouth (6 compared with 4) and as many shots….just saying

What did we do - leave it too late to replace the manager and then have to shop at the bargain basement store for players who may change things.

That's the long and short of it yes. Plymouth did what we didn't though - stuck with Cleverley after El Crapico at Vale Park was dubbed the game that would get the losing manager the sack. Bringing in a DoF for them worked.

We stuck with Moore too long after that, which ruined any potential plans for the window.

You're not going to get anything with Ward and Walters in midfield. You're not going to get anything with sherif and Brown up front.

Nor with Shipley Crossdale and Garrity.

The midfield is shockingly poor .

Out of all the 3 teams remaining in contention for the final playoff spot I want either Stevenage or Luton to get it.

We're rubbish. Even against 10 men we're rubbish as we have no creativity and strikers who couldn't hit Godzilla's arse with a football, which isn't a good combination.

At least 70% of this squad needs shipping out and off this summer.

Edit: Double post

Only good thing about this match.  Tolaj and Curtis didn't score.

that was a shocker.

Yeah I remember when people were gushing at the xG and shots during Moore's time too.

We should have more shots on goal when we are chasing the game. Just saying.

The good news is we’ve only got Stockport - a team that has literally ripped us a new one the last two times we’ve played them - and Lincoln - the 100 pts champions - to come. How much worse can it get?!

We're just hopeless in front of goal. Until we find a solution to that we're doomed...
