Side issue I know but watching Sheff W and Ndala is brilliant. Vale sold him to Man C and they've loaned him on. Why were we not in for him on loan?

Sheff W are  in the Championship for now.

He’s not sorting anything out. His in game management is practically non-existent.

Let’s get this right, we were over run, yet again, by a team that is also fighting relegation. That’s not good at all.

Where do Vale fan’s also have to go over top by saying dumb <ovf censored> like Pep wouldn’t get a tune out of this lot so what do you expect or Haaland wouldn’t score in this side.

One thing is for absolute sure is that after only 7 games in charge, Brady’s already started to split the fan base. Some going on that. It’s been many a year since I last saw that so early which is already a bad look for trying to sell season tickets next season.

I will give any body a bet on here that whilst Brady is in charge, we will not get promoted with him in charge

So boring. He may be successful, he may not (most aren’t), but to have made your mind up after 7 games is daft. Relax a bit, none of us know how the future will turn out, give the man a chance when he’s bought his own players. If you’re that concerned about the fans being split stop fanning the flames.

No way. Sooner keep seeing your posts.

Reminds me you are a <ovf censored> poster and would be better off as a bog attendant, reading the walls.

That’s right, their is a split in the fan base because of me “fanning the flames” on here

He’s not showing anything to have the trust of building his own team.

This is a football form for expressing views and opinions which I will keep doing, thank you very much

100% I would be starting Walters over Ojo(obviously Walters will start on Tuesday),the only problem I have is that for me Walters flatters to deceive as well, yes he has the close control and fancy clever turns BUT he doesn't really drive us forward or assist/score goals(yet),if he did then he would very much be worth the millions talked about,he is also another midfielder who has no real burst of pace. This isn't me having a dig at Walters because he is a player i want to do well regularly as i do all our younger players

Next season there has to be a massive review of our midfield

Thats spotOjo on about Walters. Shown very little on the pitch when given chances and never seems rated by any of the managers we have had recently. Add to this his exploits last season when he walked away, but came back in the end !! Maybe he has an attitude that doesn't go down too well.

Do well to remember more than a couple of shots from him or through balls to set up chances. He is not the answer. Worth a shout over Ojo yes but Ojo is given the job of protecting a poor pair of center backs. Awful balance of midfield players from the start and we will be relegated because of it.

Where did he play yesterday?

He spent 30 mins or more of the first half playing in our own half. Yes he won any challenges he was involved in together when he was able to push up front too, He won many headers.

Asking him to then make up 20 yards to get involved in an attack is too much for him.

Up front, but you can see all of his aerial duels are more for link up play, miles away from using Stockley as the main threat to actually score.

Compare that with Beesley getting on the end of crosses inside 6 yards.

How many crosses did we put into the box from a position high up the pitch ??

The first and only one on the right from Hall was in the 88th minute and almost created the winning goal. Very little form the left too despite Archer having a good game.

Stockley was doing the role of Garrity and playing behind Waine , for me anyway.

out of interest what subs would you have made

Gordon on to get forward for service to Grey.

Did Stockley really need to come off ? Aerial presence for flicks to Grey.

Walter’s for Croasdale - leave Archer on.

Basically, once the subs were made we had 1 attack in their half which was Brown’s chance.

Yesterday was important to get a win on the board for belief. No point bringing Grey on and taking his service off.

The resting of players could have been done in the cup games.

Don't think he played up front all game. We seemed to transit from formation to formation, when defending, when attacking: 532, 4231, 4132. Hall didn't play as the right winger he would take up in a 433. Not defending him or otherwise.

However, I have also being questioning the effectiveness of G Hall in the last few games.

Also, regarding the stats, as a spectator, I can see for myself how effective, ineffective etc. a player has been based on their role on the pitch.

Agree about Hall. Can only assume he was told to play in front of John in a 433. Never got forward at all. Any attacking threat was given to Archer on the left and so Campbell did have a job on his hands when they attacked us. Too many times Burton passed through us down the sides from goalkeeper to cross into our box. Not us.

Archer looks good doesn’t he?

Gray is a good signing, would you agree?

Waine looks rejuvenated.

there are positives there if you are open minded.

I actually think both points of view are true.

1) I don't think this side is very good at all for any manager

2) I don't think Brady gets us promoted because I think we will need to spend millions to have a squad capable of coming back up. Club have not made any noises in the recent Q&As that they are going to do that.

Even then, with his tactics so far, there's nothing to suggest we can. We're not very effective to counter when we're not the fancied side, and when we are supposed to be favourites on the pitch (yesterday, Wimbledon), we don't look like a team winning.

So don't blame you for having no faith in the manager at all. It's getting worse with each passing game, not better. We're cooked.

What the Hell is wrong with Gauci’s kicking??? Somebody really needs to have a word.

His boots are shaped like threepenny  bits. 😁 other than that I like him as goalie at least he catches crosses.

Yep, this is my point about Stockley playing really. We need to get wide players on the byline and him in the box to get on the ball, like Popey used to for fun.

He's instead playing like a deep lying forward trying to do flick ons for service. It been very mixed so far. Very slow when involved with the play for me though.

Best part of Stockley's game is his ability to win a header, like a magnet. Can we try making him the source of goals? It's what I'd like to try if he's playing, otherwise I'd just not bother and use him as the target man late sub when we are chasing a goal.

I'll take that, more intensity from Vale but rode our luck at times.

Their goal was an absolute sickner.

Burton are a big physical side but very adept at falling over. Never seen a team steal so many yards at thrown-ins.

Ref not consistent at all, Vale players getting kicked, battered and pulled all over the shop.

Burtons throw ins were arrowed in with some speed. Why didn't brady tell a player to stand a distance in front so player had to lob it over rather than arrow it in? 🤷‍♂️
