It ain't pretty, but at least we're showing some fighting spirit!

Can’t believe we have signed 2 defenders yet Hall is still a first 11 player.

Awful ref again. But we are playing alehouse football. Getting neck ache from watching us hoof it.

I think the ref has been very good, first mistake was the G Hall foul and booking.

What a save, should have been 2-2

Plymouth fans clearly didn't think he was very good the other week when they played against Mansfield as the Green & White Podcast posted this on their YouTube channel.

Second mistake, never a foul on Waine.

Great to go in leading but the better team are losing.

Think we’ve been rubbish and offered very little other than a screamer and a corner. Waine done really well going forwards, loads of effort.
Not convinced with Brady; don’t like the formation, Hall wasted at RWB again. I had hope that was just a Moore thing but clearly not.
Campbell looks steady

Gauci kicking awful but has kept us in the lead with a fantastic save after some diabolical defending.
We’re winning but I think we’ve been bad. They will feel very unlucky to go in behind.

But it’s 2-1 which is the main thing.

But it’s a crass mistake which could cost us. Hall simply went shoulder to shoulder with his man, thought he’d won it, and made a clearance. To be booked for that is utterly ridiculous. The ref doesn’t read the intent, he’s just being robotic - “player kicks ball away, I must book him” without looking at the context. Crap refereeing. One more challenge from Hall could get a red, which would be bonkers.

God that was bad well at least Brady has half time to sort it and we are in front for now at least. Look every much like a bottom of the table side but guess you would expect it missing Byers and Garrity how we miss them in the midfield it's like knife through butter.

I'll take that, more intensity from Vale but rode our luck at times.

Their goal was an absolute sickner.

Burton are a big physical side but very adept at falling over. Never seen a team steal so many yards at thrown-ins.

Ref not consistent at all, Vale players getting kicked, battered and pulled all over the shop.

Burton look a bag nerves at the back.

Fantastic freekick from Archer and Waine really impressed me with his goal. Excellent striker play to create himself the space to turn and shoot.

Think we look 2nd best to be fair and goals do paper over the cracks but who cares. We just need to win.

Not overly convincing but will take the lead. We definitely look more dangerous with this set up. Everything is bypassing the midfield but maybe that's not a bad thing. Not going to be getting much creativity from Ojo and Croasdale. Cannot fault the effort and workrate.

Burton look threatening though and are playing the better football. This is there to be won for either side in my opinion.

Be surprised if this stays 2-1

both defenses look dodgy
