It's the usual suspects again, I see. They just can't help themselves. Do it all the time at away games. Clearly can't handle their ale but act like super fans on social media. Had a run in with one of them down at Gillingham when they were abusing Connor Ripley at full time. Made threats then crawled up his own backside when confronted afterwards. I just don't understand the need for it. Vent online if you wish, but don't verbally abuse people, especially those who cannot be blamed for these things whatsoever.

I saw that at Gillingham.

We dared to lose a game whilst top of the league and people's heads came right off.

Bang on great post.

I also feel ashamed.

Brady in his first interview said he came into the job with his eyes wide open.

Love a penny for his thoughts this morning after the reaction from a few clowns.

A really poor look 😕

As you say, Brady knew he was taking on a tough job. He now has a benchmark on team performance, no doubt some choice Aussie words this morning. Players are his priority I don't thing he will linger over a few idiots.

This is the point exactly.

How does that moronic, testicle tugging, zero brain cell, dummy spit help the club.

If anything I can imagine Brady felt completely deflated after it.

Well done to whoever the bloke is! Proper clever. Well hard.

Problem is they will read this and think… I dUnNEr CarE YoUTh, proper alLoWeD say WoT I wANt… PaSSioNaTE I am

I just hope and pray that the grown ups go to the meet the manager and demonstrate to the new regime that we are behind them and will pull in the same direction.

Just watched back the goals and the aftermath.

Embarrassing from the players and from those fans involved at the end. No need for that.

I am getting a bit tired of saying that Amos is a rubbish goalkeeper. He makes countless errors and never makes a save that makes you go wow great save. He’s just poor, I’m sure I’ll get all the confused faces again like last time but Gauci is miles ahead of Amos.

Brady, I like him, there’s an identity and a way that we look to score but unfortunately he can only work with what he’s got. It’s becoming alarmingly clear to me that our owners aren’t as interested. Selling your best player and then another very creative player whilst bottom of the league to a relegation rival does not send out a great signal. Losing Johnson doesn’t help either. It’s alright saying maybe they didn’t want to stay, but I would question if we have done everything to convince them to stay.
We’re nearing the end of the window and we’ve lost probably our most consistent player in Johnson and one of our most creative players in Curtis and Brady has thus far been backed with zero signings.

We seem to mess up every single January, it’s usually the turning point where we don’t dare to spend and cash and improve the side. This January was pivotal. Moore should have been sacked weeks / months before. Brady then comes in and can assess the squad and get ready for the window. Instead everything done last minute and we have once again wasted a window.

Our players do need to have a good look at themselves. You can not capitulate like that against anyone, nevermind let’s be honest an average side at best. Can someone let me know if Shipley was cupping his ears again after another sterling performance?

We’re down. 100%. This isn’t on Brady. I didn’t like the selection of Amos or Brown yesterday as they’re both crap but I’ve largely liked what he’s brought on and off the pitch so far. Brady I think will be decent for us but this complete shambles of a club is once again all on the owners as it was last time in league 1. They backed a useless manager, who signed with respect a load of crap, owners have had there heads buried in the sand and have once again let this happen.

it’s all becoming very tiresome and a bit predictable.

Brilliant post mate

Unfortunately selling your best players sends out the wrong signals! I get it we are a selling club and it's no good having player who wants away, non the less the message is there!  For a club our size we have fantastic away support it's a pity the player's don't appreciate that. Without some real response we are going down with a whimper! Anyone who thinks we will bounce back is truly delusional! We are in for some very difficult times.

We had to sell Tolaj because of his release clause, we haven’t sold any of our best players since then.

Deborah, Waine,Faal, Brown, Ruari (pains me to include him). There's 5 who could go and we wouldn't even notice.

I do agree other than Waine,I honestly do think there is something there with him if we can stick with it,his pace really can trouble teams and for me we really need pace in this team

I also think our midfield is really weak,I would like to see someone like Russell(came on for Mansfield on loan from Barnsley) in there,6'4 looks a battler and is capable of goals.I hate to say it because i really like him but Croasdale really isn't up to this level now imo,we just have no pace in the middle of the pitch

I’d like to see a stat on Paton…..goals per minutes with him playing and goals per minutes when he’s not. Whether you like him or not we seem to score a lot more when he is playing.

If we have some stato who can work it out?

What if Ferguson wouldnt have the Vale. He may have been no 1 target.

I wouldn't totally go off what ST says because he can sometimes confuse himself because when DM was sacked he was saying he didn't want Ferguson(another failed manager i think he called him or something along those lines) but after yesterdays result he wanted him

I hold my hands up and say i ALWAYS wanted Ferguson and certainly didn't want Brady but when he was appointed I said then i would back him to the hilt like i did Moore and so far apart from the 2nd half yesterday I have been pleased considering none of the players are his

Onwards and Upwards we hope

Looking into my crystal ball
Ferguson wins at Mansfield emoji106.png

That makes no sense. Come on, what if it was Ferguson and we lost today. What would you say in here. Let's look into my crystal ball. "Wrong choice, Vale should have got..... as manager." Dead easy for you.

If Ferguson was manager we all know Nippy would of been on his back as soon as we lost a game saying that we should have appointed Brady as manager

Ferguson lost 4-2 and 3-0 against Mansfield last two games he faced them and the 4-2 defeat came in a spell when Mansfield had similar form to us currently from Christmas onwards last season!

Ferguson was rock bottom and his replacement who was working at Bristol Airport before getting the call has got a decent tune out of the same squad.

Dont get the fuss over Ferguson he hasn’t done anything in years. Got massively out done by Darren Moore in Posh’s biggest game in recent years when he had a 4-0 advantage.

Opinions very that's life

I like the attacking intent of Ferguson

I didn't realise you were a psychic as well 😆👍

The attacking intent is great, it wasn’t a negative set up yesterday and a decent side is 2 or 3-0 up at half time, the issue is for any attacking intent we want we don’t have anyone currently who can put the ball in the net. We let Mansfield of the hook with our finishing not a lack of intent, Brown one on one should do better, the worst was Shipley who had a go when he could of given Brown a tap in.

I don’t know enough about Brady so jury is out but glad we have Brady over Ferguson.
