I thought it was clearer than Byers but you are probably right about both.

They aren't letting go. I'd have thought they are querying the shoulder barge by Cole and use of the upper are by Headley. Can't think of anything else they could feel was controversial.  Personally having looked at it I think the referee got both right. They might be questioning their penalty appeal as well.

The Imray one? Never a penalty or a foul. Good player but he's one of those who has issues with gravity.

They're still holding on to it aren't they? My initial reaction was red and I've not seen anything to change my mind. As much as we don't like it, you can't tackle like that anymore. It's the directive given to referees and is in the laws of the game. It's just not been communicated to the fans very well who still think it's 1992.

I've watched it.

My point was given all his bile against the Vale stemming from him being released as he was finished.

Then why was he a go to for an opinion.

He's had nothing but bitterness towards Vale.

The queue of clubs clamouring for his signature proved that it was the right decision to release him. He's behaved like a pleb and continues to do so given his part in the Kidsgrove brawl.

It's only my opinion I'm sure I'm alone in my opinion but why would you interview a bitter and twisted person about a club they've continually digged at, including offering Vale fans on and derogatory comments about a person's mother.

I agree here. I dont understand why Simon Humphreys would go and do that, unless its just a matter of sucking up to Pope?

Does that mean we aren’t going to have to play the game again?

Headley didn’t handle it. If you look at the video from behind the goal it hits his chest and is then handled by the Blackpool defender.

What Blackpool are claiming is that when he initially brought the ball down it was a handball. It does hit his arm initially,  but its too high on the arm to count as a handball.

What Blackpool are claiming is that they are entitled to the three points because they have the best team and manager in the world!

Also, I suspect that if Blackpool had held on to their lead and won the game there would have been far less fuss about the red card. Their complaints have been an attempt to cover their embarrassment at letting in five in the second half.

I think rather than focus on the referee Blackpool fans need to focus on their teams absolute collapse.

I think that was always going to happen tbf as you cant throw yourself in like that in modern football

Back in the 80's and 90's and before it would have been a cracking tackle.... I mean Goober would of been sent off every game if the rules were applied back then
