I’m no vulture.

Ive posted before about the two years of mental health issues I’ve had.

I went to the Gillingham game. I felt no connection. I wish I did. It’s not there. After 40 years.

I didn’t post until Saturday. It’s been <ovf censored> all season.

The old me would have been on Moore from two months ago.
I’ve already explained anyone can get promoted from league two last season with the squad we have and he nearly <ovf censored> it up.

I made my point on Saturday because deep down I love the club but mentally it’s so draining.
Especially on here.
I pointed out some facts.
Thought I’d pop back here.
And get called a vulture.

This vulture is off again and let you not waste my energy.

You can waste your own energy moaning and bitching on Saturday night because I’m already done with it tonight.

Enjoy the season George and fellow valiants.
Don’t let it get to you too much and be nice to each other. X

He’ll be gone soon mate Dunner worry.

Barnsley, Blackpool, Bradford or Stockport at home next round looking at our half of the draw. All tough games

It’d be nice to run the Stockport game back and let Demolition Faal steamroller them.

Why play them both together is the question. It is baffling tactically. I loved Stockley last year but I do feel he is a L2 striker. Faal is probably National League North. Brown is maybe national league level as he was mustard for Gateshead but is unproven at L2. God knows what Waine is.

We have one L1 quality striker in Cole. Paton is the next best. I really like him but unsure whether he is L1 quality yet.

How can you say Stockley is a league 2 striker when he’s played numerous seasons in league 1 and the championship, and scored goals at those levels.

He’s played those season when he’s mobile. You can only judge here and now. I must admit I don’t see him other than a throw balls in the box with 10 minutes to go desperation stakes.

I honestly didn’t realise he was playing last night until late on in the 2nd half.

Yes, bizarrely we actually might have been better losing, looking at the tables.   Unless the " fancied" teams who finished 2nd continue to not bother and perform badly? What will be, will be.

Seems to me that our form has evaporated since Gordon & Gabriel were injured. Moore is one of the modern managers who will only use one formation. It’s generally good when we have all the players recruited for it fit and firing but when you don’t, but still insist on playing the same way, it goes downhill.

How I miss the days of adaptable managers and players. Moore simply has to change our approach.

I'm sure I remember him saying, at the start of the season, they were recruiting to be able to be adaptable. I hoped that meant adaptable to situations/ formations/ systems, not adaptable players to fill unfamiliar positions.

But then I just read his interview about George Hall, saying how good he is and should be playing higher up the pitch in an attacking role. Due to injuries he's had to play him deeper, or wider... If you know that then surely you'd rather play an adapted system to suit your best players available rather than the gap filling we've seen lately?

I can't see him changing much, it will be variations on the usual. Whatever happens this month, I don't think it will be pretty. Would absolutely love to be proved wrong and see us come out like Netherlands '88.

garrity has been our worst central midfielder this year. He doesnt deserve to be starting games ahead of others.

Might help if we played him in his correct position a bit more

On my own here again i guess but i actually think Faal was better than Stockley last night to be fair to him, although none of the players were any good really

It summed faal up for me when he was off the pitch after chasing a ball that went out then nearly tripped over his own foot when he was walking back onto the pitch. His feet seem to operate independently.

That's based on how many minuets have you/we seen of Stockley play this season to date. I for 1 would like to see him have a run of games to then make judgement, but as with the rest of the players this DM wheel of fortune he seems to use to pick the starting 11 isn't going to happen.

Shows you what a bad attitude he’s got then

I heard that interview too, but it’s complete BS. He didnt have to adapt his system. Last league game he put hall on the Bench while he played two players out of position where he plays. Moore wasnt forced by injuries to do that, it was his choice, and it’s dishonest to now pretend differently.
