Final thoughts…..

Moore went strong and made strong subs because he wanted a home tie and a win to gain momentum.
George Hall gets him out of jail with a late leveller.

The pens…… Awful body language from Stockley and Byers in particular.
I actually think Stockley has had enough of Moore. Body language of players during the game wasn’t good.
When teams break on Vale the players don’t bust a gut to get back.

Fortunately for Moore he can go to Carol and say we topped the group.
Unfortunately for him, a league 2 team, that rested players, rocked up against our strong side and subs and beat us. If that’s a normal cup game they go through on pens.
I thought maybe he would throw 5 academy lads in tonight but no. Just like against the pub team in the FA cup he went strong because he knows he’s a game away from the sack.
Any Vale fan who knows football, knows he should have been gone in the last 72 hours.

Saturday evening is goodnight for him.

We get lost as footbal fans in stats these days. We get lost with social media. Ultimately when you stop looking at stats and just trust what your eyes can see and your mind is telling you, you will see that either we have dreadful footballers on too much money or a manager way out of his depth in league one. Or both.

Either way it’s dreadful to watch and on the players body language at times AGAIN, tonight, this ends very quick for Moore but not as quick as it should have already been done.

Why? Is he not the manager tonight?

It’s a game which neither the club, manager, players or fans are arsed about. Nothing more than reserve training matches.

Yes.

They were garbage.
And if you think otherwise, then more fool you.

Like I said on Saturday I watch from afar. I don’t go anymore. I won’t go again until Moore is out.
That side he put out tonight we’re not kids. The subs he made were not kids. There was no academy players. They were senior professionals who have all played league one football regularly this season and in the past.

It was a dead rubber. And he went strong let’s face it. And his subs were strong. And we lost on penalties to a league 2 club on our own patch who had 18 fans and they scored 3 past a defence that contained our regular defenders in the league.

The writing is absolutely on the wall.

Its absolutely there for all to see if you want to see it.

Is it Wycombe Saturday?

I will be at home. Watching on tv. Laughing at every goal that goes in because Carol, YET AGAIN, and some supporters, cannot see the woods for the trees.

I’m telling you know and mark my words, if he isn’t sacked before Saturday, then god help the toxic nature in the ground as we get thumped 3, 4 or maybe more.

Oh it’ll be toxic on Saturday all right.
Wycombe will come up here an give us a footballing lesson I’m pretty sure of it.

I'm trying to  convince me neighbour not to apply for the job… he doesn’t know how to defend or attack but he says ermmmmmm and makes a cracking brew….

Three goals conceded tonight with all our main first choice centre halves playing. The big annoyance is two goals came from the same player in exactly the same position with the same finish.

Take out playing an 8th tier side and that’s 10 conceded in 3 games.

Positive second half we got three good goals and could of had a few more, Ojo was outstanding tonight the ball for the third was well found as was the sublime ball for the first.

Byers, Ojo and Walters maybe worth a go Saturday.

3 nice goals

Nothing say about theres

First one surely Henegan heads it away it was comedy gold 2nd and 3rd dont bother tracking Medley who finished well both times

Positives Ojo Shipley and Henegan,i dont really see any others although Brown once scored wasgood i thought bit of confidence for him ,faaldid alright second half should be scoring make it 3 -1   ,apart from his comedy gold moment Henegan loooked in no trouble at all .

Didnt matter anyway Faal improved as did Brown as game went on .

Do get the  feeling the back players are not really concentrating , Debrah going forwards was quite good ,but them 2nd and 3rd goals conceded are similiar too most goals we concede Curtis was no where be seen was it his man .

Alll in all i feel Headley cannot defend ,and Hall was all over the shop and Ojo shone way more than all the others in fact him and R Paton passed it well too one another the ball through and finish Ojo and Shipley superb ,Ojo too Hall super finish

I think hes played way in

Few who have played way out though

Headley whats wrong with  him and Curtis all 3 goals he played a part in for them ok his ball tgrough for Brownwas sublime but you got too make sure your defensive role also .

I say what i see .

Judging by the length of post there’s not alot Darren moore’s doing wrong then?

Do you think our first team squad ever trains together,  like in the same place, on the same day?

If thats true we should sack him now I want a manager who wants to win every game. Ig he doesn't care nether will the players.

I don’t like this farce of a competition , but since we’re in it , more effort would go a long way for the players , fans and as I posted earlier , £10,000 , which would be needed for a club like us . All those things . A bit of pride in the jersey . They’re professionals and  if nobody is arsed , then they need to find another job.

Don’t be bloody daft Darren sends them in the computer room in lorne street see who can get the highest score on Pac-Man.

I get the uncomfortable feeling Moore will still be managing vale until Sneyd Hill erupts.

Watch those last 2 goals we conceded and then during the move look at Jesse Zebras positioning, he’s ball watching, massively out of position, supposed to be playing right side of the 3 and he’s drawn to the ball playing of the heels of benHeaditagain! Atrocious!!!!

Defensively we are dreadful, just play 4 at the back?

Ojo was different gravy, played very well and if he doesn’t start Saturday, Moore needs his head examining.

Moore has 3 games to save his job IMO, something has to change, we’re shipping goals like a flash sales on TV at curry’s and are the 2nd lowest scorers across the football league!

of and get this… Moore thinks the answer is to play 3 out and out central strikers as a 3… then we have zero creativity from the middle of the park! Guess what you get?!?! You lose games - getting a joke now
