A genuine question, and not a dig, how do you think Jayden Stockley would feel knowing that you've shared what, if true, he presumably intended to be a private conversation, in a public forum?

Tbf to that poster they were asked to name/prove their source so when they then name him they also get a bit of stick,so they cant win really

I do think it's now clear that the players dont look happy at all

No, he was very thick. I had sufficient encounters with him to conclude that. Could barely string a sentence together.

Don’t equate ‘making money’ with intelligence. They’re not the same thing at all. He walked away with nothing overall as he’d spent more than that on his purchases and investments.

The worry is he made a better fist of League 1 than we seem capable of at present.

I said he was evil , not intelligent , and I doubt that he walked away with nothing. It’s all irrelevant now anyway. Equating has got nothing to do to do with it.

Shock horror players not in the team are unhappy when the team is losing and question the managers decisions.

It may also help if they got themselves fit to play.

I'd have Ghengis Khan as manager and Pol Pot as his assistant if it meant winning a few games of football especially at home.

Likes going on the attack does Ghengis. Would be a good appointment

I wonder if Darren hums the words to the song We're on the road to nowhere while he's standing on the touchline , just a thought 🤔

Same as it ever was, Same as it ever was.

Would certainly get us into Europe.

I asked after the Stockport game why Garrity does not do a post match interview but to send K John the youngest & least experienced to face it after this game is nothing short of criminal. Who the heck makes that decision and why isn't the captain taking it upon himself to face the interview ??

If this refers to Stockley saying the team were "in bits" I think too much is being made of this. To me, saying that means that they were really cut up and upset over the result. Meaning they cared about what happened on the pitch and the scoreline. Which after that result is what you should expect from a professional team. So too much is really being made of it.
I might be the only one here but i honestly dont get the clamour for Ainsworth.... please dont let us ruin another legend in our eyes, there are plenty to still choose from who could do a good job here with Carols backing and i hope some we look at would be currently doing well in jobs
I would like Ainsworth here not because he is an ex player but because he has a very good track record at this level working on a tight budget. Yes he has had flops at clubs such as QPR and Shrewsbury but what manager doesn't have one or two of those on their CV.
His record at Wycombe on what he had to work on was excellent and he has certainly turned Gillingham right round to make them serious promotion contenders.
As for his style of play, I have no issues. Yes it is a lot more direct and faster. But you get a lot less fannying around and passing it across your own penalty area. I don't think anyone can say our current style is great to watch.
However I think the reality is that he will not be available. In the meantime I would give Darren a few more matches. But he can't have long.

I don’t think Garrity wants to do them  because he’s throwing his toys out , and Moore is letting him . Garrity  , for all his good years at Vale Park , can’t wait to get out of the club. Moore has lost the dressing room .

There's some big assumptions there.

The performance by Crozier-Duberry on Saturday was the best individual performance by an opposition player against Vale I can remember since iFollow and all it's variants started years back, 2 goals and 2 assists, he was virtually unplayable, Vale just couldn't cope with him.

He was ably assisted by Cissoko on the left who was equally as skilful and who Kyle John found tough to deal with, Burstow with 7 goals to his name this season, Sheehan who is in the Welsh National squad who supplied deft and  quality passes and a bunch of no nonsense defenders who weren't afraid to put the boot in.

DM put out a team reminiscent of the one that beat Birmingham in the League Cup but even Birmingham, a Championship club,  hadn't got such dangerous and match winning players as Crozier-Duberry and Cissoko.

Vale were thrashed on Saturday and the League suggest worrying times for Vale but give Bolton credit, if they can keep hold of their players and they play consistently anywhere near as they did on Saturday then they will be in the Championship nest season.

Vale did well to match them for 30 minutes and create the chances we did.

If Moore was any kind of manager he'd be insisting that, as captain, Garrity does at least some post match interviews. After all, they can't be any worse than Moore's. Can they??

Agreed, their wide players were very good and would likely have come out on top anyway given their form, but we never challenged them. Pretty early on Byers tackled Crozier-Duberry and left a bit on him and I thought 'great, we're up for this' as he hobbled off. Now I know you're never going to kick a player like that out of a game these days, but that was the only challenge made on him.

Cissoko on the other side was allowed to run into the area several times without John making any challenge, not like him at all. I know against tricky wingers you can't just dive in with a challenge but we looked scared of even fronting them up.

Last season, and at the start of this one, you could guarantee players would be committed right to the end but it just feels like something has changed and it's all a bit half arsed recently.

Yes it has been less than ideal that our confidence has collapsed as we’ve faced probably the two best sides in the league back to back.

The worry is that malaise and panic sets into the players and it’s a vicious cycle. Saturday will be huge. A bad start and you’d imagine it’s curtains.
