This game just absolutely sums up our season in a nutshell we don't take our chances when we are on top and then they get one with their first proper big chance.  

Stop panicking it doesn't matter if we are joint bottom at Chrimbo and 6 points adrift, we will suddenly hit play off form and streak up the league 😀

Thrashing was predicted, and a thrashing it will be.

We just don't score enough goals, and concede pretty much every attempt at our goal

But how many times have we said we always got a mistake in us at the back??? We conceded against 8th tier opposition for Godsake! And yet, Moore’s answer is to put more defensive players on so as to invite more pressure. Absolutely hopeless. I agree with @valiant_593….we’re as good as down with Moore I’m afraid to say.

This is tedious to watch. Moore has no more ideas. He has to go. We have seen it all before. 
 

Where is this going? Because it isn’t league 1 that’s for sure. Even the most active imaginations can’t see him leading us to the Championship

Now is how I was expecting this game to be. Cole is up top all alone and we’re just inviting attack after attack. 

Moore has to go if we’re to stand any chance of staying up imo. We’re absolutely toothless

Agreed. Don’t think any were guilt edge and the saves were decent but comfortable

In fairness, Garrity in his natural position and Headley have been good.

We started well and were the better side. So really we set up well.

There are two issues we have however which will see us relegated this season unless something changes.

1) defensive mistakes. And it only takes one because…

2) we have no confidence or idea of what to do when we go behind

 

I can accept losing to Bolton away. But continuing to select Garrity and Byers every week is both criminal and unforgivable.

Playing well and losing is the hallmark of a poor side - keep it going long enough and the result is inevitable

Its such a shame. Carol said when we got promoted they had assembled a team for league one as well. We all knew this was incorrect and the defence was poor. She has probably spent 10 million of her own cash, which is more than any of us on here can dream of, but its nothing in football terms. She is trying to live a champagne lifestyle on beer money and it will end in tears. She needs investors alongside her to take us forward. Such a shame.
