Apparently Luton paid £200k for him then loaned him straight back so they've seen something in the lad but let's just say he's sh**t before we've seen him.

Have Burton, Northampton, Mansfield got 6 championship standard players?

You'll be lucky name 6 Cardiff players that are proven championship standard players and they're top of the league

Actually 6 Cardiff Players with at least proven Championship standard experience is an easy one.

1.) Callum Chambers

Over 100 Premier League appearances for Arsenal with an additional 45 in the Championship

2.) Callum Robertson

Aston Villa and Sheffield United in the Premier League. Over 200 Championship appearances

Many goals, too many for me to count

3) Chris Willock

Arsenal with 150 Championship QPR appearances

4.) David Turnbull

5 seasons at Celtic, Champions league

Full season in Champ

5.) Rubin Colwill

139 first team appearances in the championship with Cardiff

6.) Ollie Tanner

64 Championship games.

Meanwhile at Vale we have.

1.) Devante Cole

Championship experience.
Chief Bench Warmer at West Brom

2.) George Byers

70 odd Championship games at Swansea and West Brom.

3.) George Hall

40 Championship games with Brum

4.) Jordan Gabriel

40 odd with Blackpool and Forest at Champ level.

That’s it.

Even then you’d be hard pushed to call any of our lads a success at that level.

Truly we have not got a squad that was going to be anything better than a relegation team all along.

Cardiff fans deride Vincent Tan (he still owns them) as a tight, Smurfwaite figure. I’d dread to think what they would make of our generous, community spirited owner.

Look forward to watching Archer. He is Brady’s fist signing so lot of expectation on him.

😂😂😂

Now for Mansfield, Northampton and Burton

3 games (weather permitting) until the winter transfers end

Now for Mansfield, Northampton and Burton

Well actually while Burton are a bit thin on the ground in that area, Northampton and Mansfield are absolutely bursting with players who have played at the Champ level or above.

Actually the more you dig, the more you realise how woefully ill equipped our squad actually is in comparison.

Burton

Bradley Collins (Goalkeeper) — On loan from Coventry City; has made Championship appearances.

George Evans (Midfielder) — Experienced in the Championship from previous clubs.

Toby Sibbick (Defender) — Has played Championship games earlier in his career

Northampton

Lee Burge (Goalkeeper) — Championship experience (e.g., from Sunderland and Coventry spells).

Sam Hoskins (Midfielder/Forward) — Played in the Championship and has Premier League exposure.

Tom Eaves (Forward) — Extensive Championship career, with some Premier League involvement.

Jordan Willis (Defender) — Regular Championship player in past clubs.

Tariqe Fosu (Midfielder) — Championship and Premier League experience.

Tyler Roberts (Forward, on loan from Birmingham City) — Premier League (Leeds United) and Championship regular.

Luke Mbete (Defender, on loan from Manchester City) — Exposure to higher levels via loans/youth.

Cameron McGeehan (Midfielder) — Championship appearances

Mansfield (most of all)

Liam Roberts (Goalkeeper) — Championship experience from previous clubs.

Lucas Akins (Forward) — Long Championship career.

Jordan Bowery (Defender/Forward) — Played in the Championship.

Deji Oshilaja (Defender) — Regular Championship defender.

Frazer Blake-Tracy (Defender) — Championship games.

George Maris (Midfielder) — Championship experience.

Regan Hendry (Midfielder) — Featured in the Championship.

Louis Reed (Midfielder) — Prior Championship play.

Rhys Oates (Forward) — Some Championship exposure.

Jon Russell (Midfielder, on loan from Barnsley) — Championship background.

Tyler Roberts (Forward, on loan from Birmingham City) — Premier League and Championship.

Joe Gardner (Forward, on loan from Nottingham Forest) — Higher-level exposure.

Oliver Irow (Forward, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur) — Premier League academy/higher experience.

Happy with that
Welcome lad

Based upon?

What do you base a signing on .

Could be a big name ,doesnt mean  he can play well in our team

Ive never seen him play so to me hes a unknown ..

Hope he is the right fit for Vale .

He wont be if folk are writing him off without kicking a ball for Vale .

Garrity back , a bit of speed on both flanks and Brady getting the best out of every player and who knows .

So welcome to him like i say hope he contributes ,and puts folk in seats then for me he will be deemed as a good signing .

We will see

UTV

Hearing the gaffer has told a couple of players to find a new club 🤷🏻‍♂️. These include Mitch and Paton 🤯. #pvfc

Unofficial Vale posted this on twitter dont see how they got that info but thats there claim .

Who would you consider playing on the right wing if George plays behind the front two?

I’d play Gabriel there if we don’t get a RW.. He has pace and end product.

It's whether Brady thinks he's good enough not the Luton manager .. Our previous manager didn't think Curtis was good enough for our team so should Plymouth have avoided signing him

That’s very true but I would say Curtis was a system fit rather than not deemed good enough.

It’s quite funny how you’re listing players with about 10 championship appearances to prove your point.

You can quite easily do that with our squad.

Marosi

Amos

Gauci (comes from a prem club which you’re using in your arguments)

Humphreys

Kyle John (premier league academy)

Headley

Gabriel

Byers

Shipley

Hall

Stockley

Brown

Cole

So on paper, using your requirements, we actually have more players with championship experience / PL youth experience.

But you only listed 4 of our players who have played at championship level to try and prove your point, meanwhile listing Rhys Oates for mansfield who has never even played a championship game. But missing off Ben Amos from our list with 100+ champ games, and played in the premier league and champions league.

Absolute waffle from you mate

Who's to say Archer isn't a system fit at Luton

That would indicate Luton think he’s not ready for L1 otherwise he’ at least be on their bench especially as they have just offloaded the star winger.

If Archer he has genuine pace then a welcome addition as we rely far too much on G Hall. I would hope he has a better end product though and we can move Hall inside behind a strike where I think he would be better suited.

A development player, but like us they are limited to the number of players they can register. So goes out on loan.
