You say Hernandez was hoping for another Championship gig @JRC but on his YouTube video down below from a few days ago he said the following: "If it's not Championship for me, it will probably be League One, League Two something like that" so for him it clearly didn't matter where he ended up as long as he was happy.

Your actual quote "if its not the Championship for me then probably league 1 or 2" says his preference was the Championship.  I don't blame him for that in any way. He's played at a much higher level than we are at as a club. He's actually played at a higher level than we've ever been as a club. But his quote says that would have been his preference.  Listening to him he sounds like he is someone who will give his best anyway. If he is still anywhere near the player he was for Norwich he will be a very good addition.

Darnbrough was head of recruitment when he first signed for Norwich so there is certainly some kind of relationship there. The online rumour was just prior to Archer signing. But let's be realistic two seasons ago he was a regular in a championship side that lost in the playoffs to Leeds. He's dropped to a side 11 points adrift of safety in league 1. In terms of Premiership games this guy actually has more Premiership games than Lee Hughes. He's a big signing for us in terms of profile, as is Grey. The big positive is I doubt either needs to work, so their main motivation will be to play football.
