Hernandez should be quality, he isn't that old and played in the Prem. Finally someone to deliver a good ball you'd hope for Gray/Stockley

Its interesting that all 3 of the latest signings Gray,Ward and Hernandez say at LEAST until the end of the season

Exactly which means that they have possibly/more than likely got a clause in their contract to stay next season.

I'm excited by the Hernandez signing!

It will be mental think that in a few weeks when everyone's fit, a team that has names like George Byers, George Hall, Onel Hernandez and Andre Gray are route dead bottom of the league.

I agree with Nathan with these 2 signings the club are still trying to do everything they can to avoid relegation at the end of the season and even if we don't I think we are going to be ambitious  next season.

I think more so with the Hernandez signing and probably Gray as well, they are 2 signings we didn't have to make if Carol had given up until next season,so it's good to see imo

Just does my head in Brian....the lad from Bristol hasn't even kicked a ball for us yet and people are saying he's injury prone he'll end up keeping Byers company in the treatment room ... just gotta love Vale fans ffs 🤔

Tbf to them they are right,he is injury prone and that's been a fact so i think they are only moaning when we sign those kind of players

I am more than happy with both signings as long as they can kick on straight away

And this is where I’m going to disagree.

Im going to show Brady a lot of respect for the rest of the season from today, to see if he can show me some signs that we can look forward to a successful season next season.

I usually would bemoan these type of signings because I don’t want the club to become a graveyard for players that are getting on and are always picking up injuries which we have got with these two players and which is why many clubs struggle in league two because of these type on signings that they make. It’s a recipe for disaster. They just get stuck on the wage bill.

I don’t think it’s a any kind of sign of ambition for next season.

But the club have put us in a position where we can not be picky and I’m fully behind these two signings for the rest of this season to see what they can do for the mighty Valiants.

I think there short term nature means they won't be stuck on the wage bill too long should it all go pair shaped.

Gray and Hernandez are, on paper, infinitely better than anything else we've got. Let's hope that paper translates grass.

Hernandez should be a great signing. Shame we’ve blown our chances of staying up already as we’ve made some nice additions. Him and Gray down vale is mental given we’re bottom. Both miles ahead of what else we have

Ward is an odd one though. But we need bodies in there as what we currently have isn’t good enough.

We’re trying, it’s too little too late but we’re certainly having a go which is more than I expected

I am with you Brian i think,I am going to give Brady a fair crack at it and i know his words mean nothing but during his interview he did say they will give everything to stay up(that should be expected anyway),he also said he is confident of gaining promotion if we go down, now as i say words are cheap and he says what we want to hear but i do wonder if when he agreed to join and since whether he has been told that he will be fully backed like with Moore if we get relegated.

As others have said let him build a squad i guess and see what can happen
