Thought this guy deserves a thread of his own. I believe that he has been the best signing of all this season. He is very assured and I no longer brick it whenever the ball goes in our box (unlike the last few years). He is very dominant when coming out for the ball and could easily lead us into higher leagues.

His performance against Rotherham was outstanding. He caught everything that came in the box at all heights and angles. Not sure what Shrewsbury were thinking letting him go for nothing. Their loss is our gain!

Just what I said at the game yesterday. A great signing.

He's a terrific signing and I'm still unsure how we got him. I think one thing we can thank Keith Ryder for us selling the club to chris neale :)

He's not really been tested for long spells in a game, but his overall game seems to be very good. One thing I like about him, he kicks the ball very well when it's passed back under pressure with any foot.

All of Micky's main new signings so far (Neal, Duffy, Myrie-Williams & Vincent) have been excellent quality signings and a considerable improvement on the ones Micky signed the previous pre-season. Players like Duffy & Neal must be on a fair whack given their quality and that their original clubs made them offers to stay.

The Shrews will be delighted they managed to land Joe Anyon though!

I agree with 90% of what has been said. He seems confident, organises the defence, and conducts himself like a premier league keeper. He catches the ball much more often then Tomlinson who often ploughed through players and punched and then was miles off his line. My only negative would be when he goes down to get the ball he leaves his legs wide open, so if he fumbles he has none of his body behind the ball. On the other hand as long as he never fumbles this won't be a problem!!!

I particularly enjoyed his "time-wasting" at 4-2. There was one time when one of our players got fouled and the ball ran through to him. He picked it up then in his "appeal" threw the ball ten yards away. It's little things like that that helped us take a bit of the sting out of their "comeback". And I especially liked the pass to Lofty that barely reached

One slight worry i have is that when he takes those 'daisy cutter' shots, he sort of opens his legs wide and bends down to take it. Panics me a bit as he doesn't have his body behind the ball so if he mishandles it, it's in the back of the net.

Apart from that he's impressed me though!

Parrot ;)
