Think they’ll go up again personally

Yeah, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they do go straight back up either as they have got some really good players who could play in the Premier League.

Only one game and not going to write him off but the new keeper does not fill me with confidence, how he keeps coming flying off his line reminds me of Covolan

Been out of touch for a while. What's the latest on Garrity?

This is what worries me. Moore seems to prefer 3-4-3 and we only changed to 3-5-2 when he had no choice to try something else and it worked far better. I get the feeling he would like to go back to 3-4-3 but we always get overrun in the middle and look toothless up front when we play it. It’s probably my biggest concern going into the new season.

Spot on. 352 worked much better for us and Tolaj’s performance in a two was excellent so Dazza couldn’t go back. We just don’t have two midfielders who can dominate midfield and we score far fewer goals with two upfront. Hope we don’t have to go through that learning process all over again.

Went to the game. It’s a friendly don’t care about the result. Poor keeper mistake. Rico looked lively, Waine too at times but it was hard for them. I think in League 1 we will get more space to counter.

Just looking forward to Rotherham now.

I don’t expect Garrity to be back starting games until September with how cautious Moore is managing “minutes”, “volume” and other bingo words.

Setback a few weeks ago. “Back on grass”.

Doesn't sound good then. Is there still random testing?

Hopefully Gary Walsh can improve his performance then

Nothing in DM’s post match about why Curtis and John weren’t in the squad. He’s spoken about Gabriel & Garrity this week but not said anything about those two.

Radio Stoke interview here. Nothing on John but Curtis and Sam Hart picked up knocks and trained this morning. Says still looking for a keeper.

It's a bit of a conundrum as we had our best run last season playing 3 4 3; it then imploded.  Moore has signed players to play different systems.  Personally I'm not convinced it's the system that matters,  more playing the best system for the best 11 available. My gut reaction is we will play 3 5 2 at Rotherham; in reality I have no idea.

IMO Birmingham will definitely finish in the top 10 of the Championship this season.

Birmingham are 15/2 third favourites for outright winners of the Championship.

radio JOKE !! FFS cover the red sheeeeeeiiites friendly !!! NOT ours !!!!says it all in the title !! 🐓🐓🐓🐓s the lot of them !!!!  hey ho !! shows how low n desperate they are !! 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌 have a good season clowns

Had a radio stoke listen and thought we played well. Hard to judge our league 1 standard but the fact that it seems Ojo was one of our best players is either heartening to hear that he seems to want to make an effort, or worrying that someone who has barely been good enough for us last time and hardly set the world on fire in league 1 last season seems one of our best players again.
