I liked Cover . Incredibly naive defensively and that needed work on.

But as a loanee I thought he did well and particularly in the attacking areas was excellent. 

He'll have a lower league career somewhere.

Would have been interesting to see what he could do in midfield.  He certainly did quite well at wingback.

I knew there was speculation about him going to Cardiff (his hometown club) earlier in the summer, which he commented on, but Stockport is a little left field. Never say never but it would also mean Dave Challinor would be leaving too, also surprising given his record with them and not many league clubs looking for new managers (this late in preseason).

I hope so — he'd be a really good signing. At 30, you'd think he's still got a couple of solid years left at a good level. His record at Barnsley was impressive too

Agree will make a decent modern day full back/wing back with the right coaching/attitude but as you say had his rough moments defensively, in his defence(excuse the pun!) he's not the only wing back I've seen in recent years who's strong suit is going forward Headley and Shorrock would probably fall into that bracket as well.

His goal against Swindon at home was a bit of quality although their defending in the build up was comical to say the least, just hilarious it was them after our recent runs in🤣
