Seems a balanced squad and agree that 3/4/3 will get over run in midfield isolates the main striker and scores less than having two upfront so it has to be 3/4/1/2

What transfer model does he not fit? Signing a goal scorer with experience and pedigree?

Seems to fit the exact same bill that the Stockley signing did and that worked out just fine 

I didn't moan I had a valid point 200k for a 30 year old player is not something Vale as a club do.

But I forgot you can't have an opinion on here without some whoppers barking down at you telling you your wrong because they are clearly the Oracle of football

That actually is our model and it's been that way since Carol and Kevin came in I think BUT it is also mixed with signing experienced players as well so I have no idea why someone doesn't think if we signed Cole it wouldn't fit our model...it would certainly fit with trying to stay in this league and that's all I am bothered about this coming season.

Should we sell Walters or Tolaj then my guess would be that we would sign some younger players with potential and invest some in the Academy and that's how it should be imo

You can have whatever opinion you want, but it’s factually incorrect to say that spending a fee on a player without resale value isn’t part of our model. 

It very much is something we do, we did it for Stockley and Hall last season.
