6`4" centre half

Time yet, he’s only 16

He was playing for the academy last week against WBA so maybe they will seek him out a loan move soon

Hmm, I just assumed it had been signed but all I can see is one was 'offered', months ago and that was it.

I was half expecting him to maybe make a FL Trophy appearance or two, and go out on loan to NL level. Could still happen but feels like putting the lad in the shop window.

Yep none of the ‘press releases’  I’ve seen actually say he’s signed a contract just he’s been offered one.  Having said that, it’s strange the club would parade Joe in front of the crowd before the Gillingham game if he hadn’t actually signed the contract.  Has he played/been in the squads of any of the preseason friendlies (first team or academy)?

Not sure if true but it seems Shipley has had the number 26 for the last 5 seasons............ so that's that then 🙂

Killjoy 😁. 44 still up for grabs though……

Joel Ndala out to Hull City on loan all season

Be interested to see how he does. We sold him for 300K as a 10 year old in 2017. If he does well and Hull want to buy,I wonder if there is a sell on fee which would be a nice earner in future?

I think there is but you would hope he smashes the championship and Man City call him back to sell to a bigger club

They clearly don't like us much...

You sort of feel sorry for these lads.

Desperately trying to gain knowledge of every club, at best able to skim the highlights each week, never even coming close to watching a full game of every team once a season, so end up chucking out quite lamentable stuff.

There's fair criticisms to be thrown at us but 'lacking a focal point up top' is perhaps the most incorrect bit of analysis I've seen about us this summer. We've got two battering rams. Too much of a focal point if anything.

You can quite clearly discern that they've never seen PVFC play football on telly, let alone live.

Good luck to the dweebs.

The armchair pundit is one of the worst things post Covid to happen. There’s so many dross ones inflicting their ill informed opinions on socials now.

some actually think they’re fully fledged sky pundits

I saw one the other day describe Darren Moores style of football as turgid. Not sure if he knows the meaning of the word as some of our attacking play last year was a joy to watch

Yes. He was loaned ti forest who had a 4 mill option to buy. Obviously they didn't exercise that option, presumably thinking he isn't worth that. So he us now in the championship and we are still left hoping for a sell on fee 1 day.

Watched a bit of Hulls win v Sunderland was highly impressed with how quick they broke forwards the Vale ex kid very quick and had great movement creating space for others .

1 to watch in championship .

Vale got some academy kids who are ballers .

Glad Lomax has a shirt in squad .

Speaking to J Debrah at gym other day he is very excited about new season, and says we are way stronger than the side of last campaign in league 1 .

I concur totally

Is Cole a signing who knows but if not im.sure theres someone else lined up always play B Henegan as emergency centre forward if 1 down with ten go as he can defo head a ball top class that fella

It is mad, I don't mind it with kids messing around, but grown adults commentating into their phones and doing half time analysis at the actual game is extremely cringe worthy.

I mean, we've all given a tricky post match interview while taking a dump after a bad run of games on Champ Manager, but doing it for all to see (the interview, not the dump), convinced people care about an ill informed opinion is a bit mad.

I suppose that's the social media world, it means that any idiot has a mouth piece, no matter how incorrect/ boring/ abusive, it will connect with someone.

I will caveat that though by saying I do sometimes enjoy watching the goals/ crowd reactions from different angles. Particularly if it's from the losing stand... I occasionally go back to that vlog of those two Swindon dweebs at the play offs to cheer myself up.

How on this earth can anyone predict a league, when no ones seen any team play in it yet .

Its nonsense just because you buy all a ok looking team on paper (huddersfield for example )doesnt mean they are going to gel and be a good team if anything too many egos makes them a bad team.

Vale could surprise the lot .

I hope so, as we have a manager who has know how .

Bring it on these experts are full of it ,you know f all .

Like them damn stupid supercomputers predictors lets shove there predictions up there rear end

I avoid all that stuff. They all think they’re experts and frankly I find myself feeling embarrassed for them. Like you say it’s proper cringe.
