I feel like we will try to move Hart and Hennegan on even though both are under contract. 
 

 

It's always harsh when you have to start talking about releasing players who've got you promoted/done a decent job but that's the revolving door and ruthless industry that is pro football I guess.  

We'll need to improve the centre of defence if previous efforts by some at that level are anything to go off(ok Debrah and Smith could improve but I wouldn't want to leave it to chance or us to be short in that dept.).

A good stopper/CB at that level is a must as it was a massive issue last season and a big reason we went down(along with our poor forward options).   I actually think Heneghan will be decent given a run of games and I'm not sure why some don't appear to rate him and would move him on over others?  John and Clark should be good enough on ability injuries are the issue there as mentioned but both are a good age to improve which you assume is big in the clubs philosophy. 

Seemingly Chislett will be gone as it's clear Moore has never 100% rated him or he doesn't fit in with his systems/tactics. A shame as he's a decent lower league footballer imo but that's football/life.

Jones will be released I don't think there's much doubt there.  Sang would be next for me, had a much better season this time but error prone and the 2 sendings off show he can be a liability at times we can't afford that in League One.  That should give us some scope for a wage towards a good solid CB.

Harper I think will be gone in midfield not really done enough and again error prone despite moments where he looks decent

Generally I think it's a case of perhaps 1 good solid player across the 4 positions(spine of the team) GK, CB, CM and ST we will need to compete at the higher level.  Of course it's a squad game and you will always get 1 or 2 who you perhaps don't expect who step up and do well at the higher standard.  It should be an interesting summer on this front.

Agree with others, 1 good player across GK, CB, CM and ST is enough for me to replace those who will be released . And can we utilise the loan market well?

I’m thinking if Croz gets the Tranmere job he may very well end up there whether on loan or if they just take over his contract. Feels like Chiz is going to move down south but if not could see him going there too.

Good call, he'll jump at the chance to rejoin Crosby I reckon. If his attitude is right he'll be a great pick up for them.

hes doing well in the under 21s or whatever side hes in ! scored some goals by all accounts

As a few have said it is important to add some pace to the squad especially someone who can charge through the midfield with pace but a couple of other positions depending on who stays etc but Imray on loan from Palace would be nice,very skilful and pacy and Mallik Wilks if released by Sheff Wed,he is another with pace and an eye for goal

Norwich have wasted no time in saying who they will be letting go,obviously out of our league,the only younger ones are a 24yr old 6'6 keeper Archie Mair and 6'4 23yr old CB Jonathon Tomkinson

Imray is on loan from Crystal Palace and as we've had one or two loans from there over the years, we might have a good chance.
