One year deal for Clark - sensible as it gives both parties options at the end of the season, depending on how things go.

    On your wish list we would actually need 3 CB's if you want to replace Deb and Heneghan as we have no Smudge now. I don't think thats realistic. Maybe 2 replacing Smudge and RCB so Deb and Henegahn are squad players?

    Midfield's a tough one, thats why I ask, assuming we play 352 Byers,Walters & Garrity- POTY Croz sat on the bench? Another player a bit different who could perhaps be more flair?

    I get Stockley, undoubtedly we need a 3rd striker who can do a similar role.

    We’ll see if it’s a 1 year contract with an option in favour of the club or player but really happy he’s staying. Not least he has the ability to play right and left, might also mean Kyle John can compete for a place at RCB which he did a few times last season.

    With the demands on that position if you’re going to play wingbacks you can never have too many of them.

    Great news! As I said before, for us, having 'good' wing backs is essential to get us up the pitch. We've got to have quality in that area, as well as quality 'cover' in that area. It's priority for us in an attacking sense!

    Now strengthens our left sided options too. If Headley missing he's above Hart and Shorrock in the pecking order.

    His agents are Unique Sports Group, one of the world's top football agencies according to TransferMarkt, so my guess is they'll know how to drive a hard bargain.

    Any news on Paton ? 

    Would love to see him get another chance but I feel he may be moved on and possibly head back up to Scotland. Scottish championship level though I'd assume
