Fleetwood and Salford not Bankrolled ? what drugs are you on ? Cook has 4 promotions on his cv all by winning the title, the year he took Chesterfield to the league 1 playoffs he had the budget cut and Eoin Doyle his only recognised striker sold in the January window leaving him having to use Sam Clucas as a makeshift striker! have a look at the Scunthorpe side you say he took to the playoffs and compare the outlay to the Chesterfield side cook took to the league one playoffs and then come back and tell me Scunthorpe where not Bankrolled! Why do you think Scunthorpe ended up in the financial mess they did by being prudent or living well above there means ?

The year Chesterfield won League 2 under cook Alexanders Fleetwood could only look on in envy with a bigger Budget and the likes of Jon Parkin playing for them they didn't even get in league 2 play offs that season

True. Alexander's record as manager before Bradford hasn't been much to write home about.

They're having a good run of form at the moment.

We've got the players that we need to perform at this level. However, the Manager needs to refresh his strategy to use those players effectively so that we score goals and win. It really is up to Moore to respond.

DM as a former defender, his first reaction is to play cautious and keep it tight. His idea of going for it was to play Mitch and John. I like both players but they are both full backs playing a wing back role. It's been done to death that we don't score enough goals and if DM wants to change that he needs to do something totally different. We have seen the dangers of trying to win 1-0. Will he roll the dice and play Curtis, Tolaj and Hackford/ Rico and really go for it or will he give us more of the same and expect a different result?

Surely even he can't resist the pressure to change tactics now...

Chislett will give us more impetus going forwards I mean if we can get 2 up in first half then we can revert to our over cautious nature second half and take the lad off after he as scored and assisted .

The last thing we should be doing versus a in form scoring team is give them impetus then cannot score if we camped out in there last third .

Byers was the other night looking to play forwards but had to go back time snd time again as Croasdale especially was virtually making no dynamic runs just playing the likesof R Richards and Chislett should improve the Vale attacking ten fold if it doesn't I'd be very surprised

Croasdale Byers and Harper all want to sit well it just puts you on back foot they should be running into that opposition giving them.something think about Harper out the 3 looks most likely do that Croasdale has gone quiet he needs a rest I'd rest him and give both Chislett and R Richards a start

We go there to entertain those supporters who have once again sold out Fleetwood away, the last time  we played  well there 2013, it's about time our away support were given something enjoy they have relegated us hammered us snd generallygot the better of us tomorrow that Cannot be the case .

Give Byers a forwards pass, Rico take them on Tolaj get the goals your overall play deserves .

Come on Vale

A swashbuckling performance.

You can say that again !

Too good!  They've won and drawn the other in their last three games, so confidence going into tomorrow, must be pretty high!  Not good timing for us and although I'm hoping for the best, I have a little foreboding about tomorrow's result.  UTV!

Read again….. i never said Salford or Fleetwood weren’t bank rolled. Just like Portsmouth and Wigan. So, Cook has four promotions and Alexander has 3 promotions after this season, very bold statement to say Cook has achieved more than Alexander and Wild ever will, let’s wait and see. Chesterfield are underperforming this season, there is only one way Cook is going, meanwhile the other 2 are performing rather well and will go on to better things.

Rolls reversed now….Chesterfield pre season favourites with the bookies languishing in mid table and no chance of reaching the play offs, yet Bradford predicted to finish about 5th with the bookies look odds on to win the division. Cook, ex division one manager now under performing with a mid table second division club with a big budget. Another season like this and he will be gone but who above division two will want him?

Two promotions before this season- yes, with clubs with big budgets but there are many who rave about Moore with his one promotion with a club with by far the biggest budget.

Alexander is at Bradford. Wild is the manager at Fleetwood.

Can you tell me what Chesterfields budget is for this season and what Bradford's budget is for this season ? You haven't got a clue have you ?

Weird thing about Bradford is they are doing better without Andy Cook who was the only one scoring for them !

I think Chislett will give us more impetus !

Chislett has a lot to prove this season he has not been at his best when played. There is a great player there no doubt, just hope he can give us the impetus we desperately need.
