DM as a former defender, his first reaction is to play cautious and keep it tight. His idea of going for it was to play Mitch and John. I like both players but they are both full backs playing a wing back role. It's been done to death that we don't score enough goals and if DM wants to change that he needs to do something totally different. We have seen the dangers of trying to win 1-0. Will he roll the dice and play Curtis, Tolaj and Hackford/ Rico and really go for it or will he give us more of the same and expect a different result?

he only ever seems to defend and hope for a goal as shown against Harrogate

2-2 is a cert.

I’d be happy with that.

Some 💩 on this thread.  Back on topic, Fleetwood banging in a few goals at present and if they score 2 they won’t lose, and more likely win.

Looks like the weather is going to be glorious so really looking forward to a stroll on Blackpool Prom, popping in a few pubs and fish ‘n’ chips by the sea.

Conna beat a fish supper on the prom Ray 👍🍟🐟

You might be but there would be a meltdown on here again 😉 🙂

Fleetwood have hit a bit of form so a point wouldn't be a total disaster at all,and if we do draw all the Darren Moore haters will be throwing wobblies and getting there knickers in a twist on here after the match 🤣🤣🤣

We have played 33 League games but only scored 2 or more goals on 12 occasions. Be interested to see DMs team selection as the penny must be dropping that draws aren't going to get us promoted. Stats would suggest we will score one goal.

At least you didn't use the phrase bed wetting, that seems to touch a few nerves 😂

If there are any changes I think it will be to make us more solid away from home, maybe Debrah will come back in,if he does then i would have John and Clark at wing backs. I would like to see a more attacking midfield but i dont think we will see it

Good luck the Vale

Safe travels to the over thousand Vale support

For the record hope it's a good performance firstly the result well it will be what it is .

Interesting see if changes midfield 3 there performances not at a level they need be

Just a change in formation could get Vale going .

Solid is fine if want a play off place if want automatic promotion you need more than that in my view

Have a good one all Vale .

Stoke taking 3000 Coventry m8 at work excitedly told me the other day ,great support for a underwhelming performing football club he says I say Vale would take more .

Also wonder what Stoke station like as Vale on other side of tracks to Stoke the ones going on train thst is

Is it great support? just wondering if they still get free travel on their coaches because that makes a massive difference imo

Ahh BHF just answered that one above

Ask your mate if Stoke would take 3000 if they had to pay the coach fare.

Spot on. My mate was creaming about taking 1100 to Norwich the other weekend.

He goes on the free bus even to the likes of West Brom.

Can't think of anything worse really but some folk will obviously go week in week out.

3000 is commendable, but its an hour and 15 and they are 1972 League Cup winners after all.

It’s 1/5 of their home support. It’s only like us taking 1250 to Fleetwood which is quite a bit further in 2 divisions lower.

It’s a good following but let’s put it in to perspective and would they take that if they were in division 2 without free travel?
