I will go out on a limb and say 0-0, less than 2.5 goals certainly. You didn't hear it here first.

i have stated that the pair of them in there management career will not achieve what cook has achieved between them!! Wild up to yet won nothing, Alexanders successes have being massively bankrolled , when you mentioned cooks successes you failed to mention he won league 2 with Chesterfield and the same season took them to the Johnstone paint trophy final the following season league one play offs, this with a team of free transfers which was broken up and sold for over £4,000,000, Eoin Doyle, Sam Morsy, Tendayi Darikwa, Liam Cooper, Sam Clucas (BANK ROLLED LOL LOL) He also won the conference with us, Sligo Rovers in Ireland there most successful manager ever!!!

You fail to mention Cooks other achievements

-sacked within 6 months  after becoming manager at Southport

-sacked at Ipswich, when despite them being favourites to go up after spending a load of money they lingered in mid table- the second shortest managerial stint in their history

-Then becomes a none league manager

Come the end of the season Wild will have a higher win rate than Cook despite managing clubs a lot less rated in their divisions. Alexander already has a better win rate and some of his successes out way Cooks achievements

-Promotion with Fleetwood

-took Scunthorpe to the play offs (not bank rolled)

-ProMotion with Salford

-Despite Chesterfield being favourites to win division 2 and Bradford about 6th favourites he tops the division

You mention bank rolled…. Cooks promotion with Portsmouth and Wigan were on both times the biggest spending clubs that season and I dare say Chesterfield were amongst the biggest spenders last season.

So, you are wrong to say that Cook has achieved more than the pair of them ever will as arguably Alexander has already achieved more, plus the pair have a good many more years ahead of them and I am sure Wild will manage at a lot higher level which cannot be said for Cook now.
By your theory Adkins is a lot better manager as he has taken a team in the Premiership and managed in the Premiership, but look how Tranmere have done under him, taking Crosby to rescue them.

You keep Cook, you seem happy with the crap they play and mid table mediocrity despite being pre season favourites- I’d much prefer Wild or Alexander.

I’m predicting another Grimsby 0-3 unfortunately. Hope I’m wrong, won’t be gutted with a draw but after only taking 2 points from our last 2 games we desperately need a win

Think you are correct. Seen nothing in the last two matches to make me think otherwise. I usually lean towards the happy clapper wing, but just not optomistic.

I never mentioned Wild being the best manager. Merely said Wild is decent.

Cook is a very good manager. Though i wish he'd get some strepsils down him, that voice !

His Pompey promotion was like DM at Wednesday, massive club, expected to go up, no other outcome was acceptable.

I have not heard a DM interview this week. My mate ( no reason to doubt him ) says DM being talking Chislett up.

I could understand Tuesday but tomorrow on a tight small pitch and based on previous visits it's generally a grinding battle. Seems polar opposite to what Chislett does well.

Unless of course he puts in a Louis Dodds performance in the 5-2 win all those years ago. What a game that was.

He got asked if Chislett still has a part to play this season and he went into some detail about how he had sorted his head out now, but when he's been on the pitch hasn't always been at his best, so DM has sat down with him and gone through details on technique, getting the ball into the box quicker etc.

In fairness it was in response to a question rather than talking him up proactively for this specific game

Fleetwood and Salford not Bankrolled ? what drugs are you on ? Cook has 4 promotions on his cv all by winning the title, the year he took Chesterfield to the league 1 playoffs he had the budget cut and Eoin Doyle his only recognised striker sold in the January window leaving him having to use Sam Clucas as a makeshift striker! have a look at the Scunthorpe side you say he took to the playoffs and compare the outlay to the Chesterfield side cook took to the league one playoffs and then come back and tell me Scunthorpe where not Bankrolled! Why do you think Scunthorpe ended up in the financial mess they did by being prudent or living well above there means ?

Chislett will give us more impetus going forwards I mean if we can get 2 up in first half then we can revert to our over cautious nature second half and take the lad off after he as scored and assisted .

The last thing we should be doing versus a in form scoring team is give them impetus then cannot score if we camped out in there last third .

Byers was the other night looking to play forwards but had to go back time snd time again as Croasdale especially was virtually making no dynamic runs just playing the likesof R Richards and Chislett should improve the Vale attacking ten fold if it doesn't I'd be very surprised

Croasdale Byers and Harper all want to sit well it just puts you on back foot they should be running into that opposition giving them.something think about Harper out the 3 looks most likely do that Croasdale has gone quiet he needs a rest I'd rest him and give both Chislett and R Richards

We go there to entertain those supporters who have once again sold out Fleetwood away, the last time  we played  well there 2013, it's about time our away support were given something enjoy they have relegated us hammered us snd generallygot the better of us tomorrow that Cannot be the case .

Give Byers a forwards pass, Rico take them on Tolaj get the goals your overall play deserves .

Come on Vale

A swashbuckling performance.
