Fleetwood v Port Vale match thread - 8th March

On the plus side we have plenty of decent replacements on the bench

If we don't score today is that is three games without a goal not really promotion material is it.

Typical Mooreball. Unbelievably hard on the eye. Both sides have been very poor. Nothing in it and we definitely haven’t dominated like some numpty thinks.
Same old same old.
Hackford not been in the game at all, although it is tough with our style.
Reminding me of the Gillingham game. Both severely lacking any attacking intent.
Get Curtis, Clark and Chislett on and let’s try and get the 3 points. These are there to be beat. They’re back 3 are all over the place, we just need to actually try and do something remotely positive.

I didnt think hackford or tolaj were on the pitch. No creativity. Just long balls all the time

Kin hell, bored stiff.

Their commentator hit the nail on the head saying "I have absolutely no idea what Vales style of play even is" ... I've watched every game this season, and nor do I 🤣

Hackford a complete passenger. Needs replacing.

Agree but he has not had one decent ball played through for him.

Tolaj is dropping deeper and so he is involved in play.

What an awful set up again from Moore

Probably had more of the territory but not really threatened a great deal. I’d probably be taking off Walters and bringing on Chislett to play him behind the front two. Maybe Curtis for Hackford too.

Let's hope DM uses them pronto and doesn't leave it until it's too late!

Crap pitch making it very difficult.

Just not good enough in final 3rd.

How was that not a yellow for the pull back/elbow on Hart?

IF we loose or draw THIS, our season is defined on the last three games.....

Likely to get a play off spot but NOT good enough....

With so much rotation, 0-0 at half isn't so bad as long as the plan is to make a couple halftime subs and really got at them now. If we keep the same 11 out there I'll be disappointed

No movement too static long hopeless ball midfield scared to play a forward pass too predictable and that's being the case all season once teams sus you out thats it problem is Moore only knows 1 style of play and this is it so when teams learn to play against it we are screwed

Vale look like the team they are, one that's made 5 changes and looks disjointed.

Sounds Like a Boring Match - Like LISTENING to Paint Dry ?AND The Vale Have a Terrible GD Needs improving ! Will they EVER Score 4 Goals in a Match ?

If you think we’re outplaying them you’ve got blinkers on. Nothing to do with being positive or negative. It’s down right bollox

Poor attempts i know but Fleetwood had 4 in the first 12 mins

Yet Alan V insists we are the better team.

Its a one nil win to whoever gets the scrappy goal in this game
