Sangy can play in this one. It was a 3 game ban, Grimsby, Cheltenham & Donny so he’s served it now mate

My mistake, I heard it said he was banned until the Barrow game. That was referring to league games I guess.

Amended to 7th

Thanks. I think I put the date of the day I created the thread rather than the match!  😕

Thanks for those who noted and commented. 👍

It was put to me recently that 'managing loads' does not help players stay fit.  A player does 70 minutes, then doesn't even make the bench for the next couple of games;  then, magically he's back in the starting line up. Maybe for one game.  Is he going to be match fit and in top condition after not playing a couple of games?  I don't think so.

In fact, he's far more likely to twang a hamstring because he's expected to perform as if he was 100% match fit, when clearly he isn't.  It doesn't make sense, does it?

And that's not mentioning the lack of form due to not playing, and the lack of continuity from not having a settled side!

Completely agree with those comments and I said something similar in an opinion piece.

While I can see the need to do a big rotation for this game, I do hope in the League we stick with a more settled side now.

I think you have to rely a bit on luck and trust that players don't get crocked if they play regularly rather than taking them in and out of the side which as you say, may actually be helping them pick up knocks.

I also think for some positions there needs to be the chance to build up partnerships. Upfront , for instance... I can understand, to some extent why Paton and Tolaj didn't set League Two alight in the first half of the season. They were in and out of the side, never given the chance to build up a partnership with anyone and weren't getting many minutes. Paton hit two goals after he'd be given two starts in a row back in August, likewise Tolaj scores on Saturday after two starts in a row.

Off the top of me head LINCOLN - I think we were moved about 3 times over about 5 seasons.

What year was that? Back in the terrace days? Must be before my time.

I'm not suggesting the whole of the Lorne Street stand just the wet bit underneath all the boxes and the corporate stuff - that could still be used by home fans -  You do not need to use the same entrances to access the Corporate stuff that  you use to get into the wet bit of Lorne Street.  Some of the boxes though are sometimes used by away fans.   I used to use that for mickey mouse cup matches but got <ovf censored>'d off with getting wet whenever the weather was not good .

the view from the Hamil end isn’t great at all and I have tried it three times and y an only see half of the game  and I don’t think we should have moved from the bycars personally
