Shouldn't this be captioned '7th Jan'?

Only slight change from that team you posted is I’d give Grant a run if he’s fit or not off anywhere shortly. Maybe play Debrah in place of Smith though Smudge isn’t an injury risk just keep him fresh for Barrow. Likes of Tolaj I wouldn’t have them in the squad at all, need them for the weekend and he doesn’t need minutes.

Shorrock, Debrah and Cover travelled and were in the pre-match warm-ups today so maybe they’re starters for Tuesday (as per Granville’s selection).

How’s Jones done on loan? Any idea?

Not seen anything online about his performances. His loan was meant to expire yesterday but I saw he started for them in their FA trophy game defeat today. I wonder if it's been extended make sense to be honest

Isn't he on loan until the end of the season?

Personally I would start with the subs named today.

I said to a mate those subs would be definite starters at many league 2 sides.

I assume Wrexham have a very big experienced squad?

Paton hat-trick would put the cat amongst the pigeons as to who starts as number 9 next Saturday.

This man has to start as the number 9 next weekend, his interview with AB7 post match shows how much more settled & happy he is now playing in his natural position. Let him cook Moore, it’s now down to the likes of Stockley & Paton to push him. It’s no surprise we looked so much better with two strikers alongside each other yesterday.

Yeah mate. All the pizza games are on sky sports + ️

Probably not the conventional thing to do but I wouldn’t ring the changes here.

We might have found a workable team. Let them play together. Forget this ‘load management’ nonsense. Winning teams don’t drop anyone - look at Walsall.

I’d rest our two most important players (Garrity and Tolaj), and maybe Clark, but otherwise play the same team again, pretty much:

Amos

Smith Heneghan Hall

John Richards Lowe Croasdale Headley

Hackford Paton

Get those connections forming and get confidence into them. We simply haven’t done that this season. Sometimes doing nothing is better than doing something.

The only other one I’m thinking of is Benicio. He must be close to a return that is assuming he’s not been recalled by Brighton so get him involved if he is.

I’d argue Croasdale is a vital player for us so wouldn’t be starting him myself. He’s worked his bollox off this season, covered for missing players & been playing through a knock himself. He needs & deserves a rest for me.

I’d tend to agree with this, also the prize money at this stage is not to be sniffed at.
