Awful game of football. I couldn’t watch this every week as a Wigan fan, sitting back against a side like us at home. They’re very slow and only threats are the wingers. We’ve been the better side, missed two big chances, Shorrock done well, Massey and loft done ok as well. For me the big players need to show up here, we need the likes of Garrity to show his class. I fancy us 2nd half.  Results going our way as well.

Workman like performance by Vale but have to take the chances. Thought Garrity was gonna chip their keeper when he was in on goal.

The danger for Vale lies down their left hand side, got to double up on Goddo.
