DM wasn’t “special” enough to keep us up though was he?  For me a truly top manager would’ve squeezed a bit more out of those players and picked up the few points we needed to survive.

We can’t argue that Darren and Carol have attracted some more than decent players into the club this summer that’s for sure, so at least the manager has the tools to do the job this season.

That was the midfield and defenders from previous seasons learning how to mark runners.
