If I remember one of the areas blamed last season was the difference between the high quality of the training pitches vs the bog of the main vale park pitch. Hopefully not an excuse now especially when you watch old matches back to see the state of them in the winter.

Don't think that was last season as we upgraded the drainage last summer. The season before probably

Think it was the other way round last season. From memory we had to train at Newcastle Town astroturf pitch in the winter as the training pitches were not fit for purpose.

Strange how our awful pitch never stopped the away team from winning. As alien as our pitch allegedly was to them they still managed to find a way to beat us, usually very comfortably.
