Indeed, shows the scale of the task left behind by Flitcroft in all its glory. Just got to wish Moore well with getting things back on an even keel.

Surely where it says the club are in contact with players, means potentially moving some of them on? If not we’re <ovf censored> and will do well to stay in the division 

Offering a contract to a striker who scores one goal a season and cant be bothered to get fit enough to play a full 90 mins despite being a professional footballer is a disgrace. 
The retained list makes me grateful for relegation. Imagine knowing we would have another season in league 1 with those players under contract. We’d be down by Christmas this time.

But it also doesn't say who will be sold elsewhere.  Its just a published list, right now.  For example - it says Chissie, Garretty and Ripley are on there, yet (from the rumours on here) Chis and Garrety have already been sold.  That list will not be the same by the time we kick off for the first game next season.  Thats guaranteed.

If we have another season watching those two donkeys up front we are going down. I’d rather Uche than loft, but since some moron gave Loft a 2 year deal, we should not be offering Uche anything. 

Uche did manage one season a few years back in league 2 where he scored about 15 (Christ knows how), got to pray he comes back a changed man.

Moore rates Uche, has been after him at other clubs. It’s an abomination of a decision to offer him a deal but i expected it

The amount of shìt players we are lumbered with due to them being under contract is crazy. Wage budget must be practically maxed already.

Got to somehow convince some dopey director of football to sign some of these phenomenal players of ours.

The retained list is merely a statement of fact rather than one of full intent - it doesn’t (can’t) give any indication of which contracted players might want to leave, or which ones we’ll be trying to move out. It’s probably better to be cautious over naming transfer listing players too, as we might not be able to shift them and will be left with miserable players who know they’re not going to feature.

With three leaving, four loanees returning and Cass uncertain, there’s at least 8 slots that need to be filled.

Interesting that Aiden Stone has been released by Notts County - wonder if he’ll be brought back as understudy?

Maybe we will find out a bit more on Thursday evening
